Developing a solid foundation in technical skills can be crucial in life. What do you think about how technology can open doors to new opportunities that weren't previously available? Are you using new technologies where you live? How have you incorporated technology into your daily routines?
Technology is here to impact our lives and stay…every day there are more new processes that we must adapt to if we're going to use them more frequently.
History tells us that with the new appliances required for the home and making life easier for housewives—in the kitchen, doing laundry, and other things—step by step, this way of working with household appliances brought us closer to the changes that later occurred in many areas.
It was once thought that technology was only for businesspeople; in other areas, I don't think its use was even considered... When it came to the field of education, the question of how educational dynamics could be used in classrooms was a profound change, filled with fear and anguish at the thought that this was already imminent. I remember that those of us born before the 90s, long before, were labeled as digital immigrants, precisely because using a computer was out of this world or something very advanced.
I remember signing up for the first lists for courses offered so that there would be an understanding of how to introduce this tool into the educational workplace. It was a matter of unlearning in order to relearn, not at all easy in those times. Adapting a curriculum involving technology was, and still is, a challenge with the newness of every day, despite the years that have passed and all the changes it has brought from various quarters.
Of course, social media has come to make more changes in our daily lives. Currently, if I'm involved in new technologies, I delve as far as I can, collaborating with those who are still unfamiliar with certain functions. Despite the progress I've made, I still believe and maintain that human beings are creatures of habit and interests.
Managing certain wallets and collaborating with those unfamiliar with these processes makes me feel like I've made progress. There are certain skills, like making or editing videos, where I've made very little progress. Here, skills and abilities need to be refined, with patience, and understanding that not everyone learns in this field overnight. These are details we gradually grasp and understand, from the spaces to be used, to the processes to follow to see the result, always with an eye toward improving.
We can't say we know everything; there's something new every day, and if something new arrives, it's not wise to stress about it if it's not necessary to use it. I remember this from when I started using the #hive platform. I read on the old Twitter feed about coins, Binance, buying, and investing. I thought I wouldn't be able to handle it. One day, I chose not to stress about it, but to stick with what I was learning and move forward step by step. Today, I understand that it's natural when we enter a new platform to study it to make it more user-friendly and feel comfortable with the progress. We also need to adapt to the dynamics. As we understand, we advance more quickly, guiding others.

Desarrollar una base sólida en habilidades técnicas puede ser crucial en la vida. ¿Qué opinas sobre cómo la tecnología puede abrir puertas a nuevas oportunidades que antes no se ofrecían? ¿Estás utilizando las nuevas tecnologías donde vives? ¿Cómo has incorporado la tecnología a tus habilidades diarias?
La tecnología llegó para impactar en nuestras vidas y quedarse cada día más procesos nuevos que debemos adaptarnos si los vamos a utilizar con más frecuencia.
La historia nos cuenta que con los nuevos artefactos requeridos para el hogar y hacer más fácil la vida del ama de casa, en la cocina, en el lavado de la ropa y otras cosas, paso a paso esta forma de cómo funcionaban los electrodomésticos nos venían acercando a los cambios que luego se presentaron en muchas áreas.
Se llegó a pensar que la tecnología era cosa solo de empresarios, en otras áreas creo que ni se pensaba en el uso de ésta, al llegar al área de educación de cómo se podía utilizar en la dinámica educativa en las aulas de clase fue un cambio bien fuerte, miedos , angustias de pensar que esto ya se acercaba. Recuerdo que nos etiquetaron a los que nacimos antes de los 90, mucho antes como inmigrantes digitales, precisamente porque el usar una computadora era de otro mundo o era algo muy evolucionado.
Recuerdo que estuve anotada en las primeras listas para los cursos que ofrecían para que existiera un acercamiento de cómo introducir esta herramienta en el ámbito laboral educativo. Fue un desaprender para volver a aprender, nada sencillo en esos tiempos, adaptar un currículo involucrando la tecnología fue y aún sigue siendo un reto con lo nuevo de cada día, a pesar de los años que han pasado con todos los cambios que ha traído desde diversos espacios.
Por supuesto, las redes sociales llegaron para hacer más cambios en nuestra vida diaria. Actualmente si estoy involucrada en las nuevas tecnologías, me adentro hasta donde voy entendiendo, colaboro con quienes aún desconocen ciertas funciones, a pesar que se ha avanzado sigo pensando y sostengo que el ser humano es un ser de costumbre y de intereses.
Manejar ciertas wallets colaborando con aquellos que desconocen estos procesos me hace sentir que he avanzado, hay ciertas habilidades como elaborar videos o editarlos, muy poquito en ello he avanzado, aquí las destrezas y habilidades hay que afinarlas, tener paciencia, entender que todos no aprendemos en este campo de la noche a la mañana, son detalles que vamos entendiendo y comprendiendo de los espacios a utilizar , los procesos a seguir para ver el resultado, con la mirada siempre a mejorar en ello.
No se puede decir que sabemos todo, cada día hay algo nuevo y lo nuevo que llega si no es necesario utilizarlo no es prudente estresarnos por ello. De esto recuerdo cuando inicié en la plataforma #hive, leía por el antiguo twiter que hablaban de monedas, de binance, de comprar, de invertir, pensaba que no iba a poder con esto, un día elegí no estresarme quedarme con lo que iba entendiendo, así ir avanzando paso a paso. Hoy comprendo que es natural cuando entramos en una plataforma nueva hay que estudiarla para que sea más amable y sentirnos bien con los avances, igual adaptarnos a las dinámicas, mientras comprendemos avanzamos más rápido orientando a otros.
