Hello #Weekend community
Blessings to all, thank you community for existing. Do you (personally) think you should follow the rules and instructions or not? Explain.
We belong to a society.
A society that has always been organized around its aspects of being able to coexist. Within all of this are the political, geographical, financial, and other aspects that have to do precisely with coexistence.
From our parents and those we knew from our grandparents and even further back, we perceived that aspect of following norms and rules, starting with the family rules, the written and unwritten ones that were taken for granted because we were part of a family.
Perhaps now we see those rules as too vertical; that's just the way it is. Within all of this, there are different ways of thinking and the permissions that respect those thoughts and actions of people. Within all of this are values and beliefs. I think they are included in these rules, as is, and I consider the value of Respect to be extremely important.
Respect, because without it, rules are irrelevant. Everyone does what they think (whether they want), and eventually we see that nothing holds true (or we end up with forms of abusive coexistence).
Personally, I believe I should follow them, as long as they don't affect my way of thinking, acting, or feeling. If there's something I don't agree with, I should set it aside or not fully understand whether I like it or not. If I consider a rule to be followed, there is respect, and I accept the reason for that rule.
This question is very subjective because each person has their own way of thinking and interpreting it based on their history and actions, based on their upbringing, beliefs, and values.
Following rules is important. In this community, if we don't follow a rule, we don't participate in the Weekend Stories. From what I've observed, those of us who publish here follow this rule, not out of fear, nor because our posts will be silenced. On the contrary, it's a way of learning. We respect the rules in each community. Even if sometimes we don't agree with some rules, free will still exists. We are the ones who decide whether to participate or not.
It's something like how in any organization where two or three people interact, even if they're not written down, the rules are made clear in order to function. In school groups, in teamwork, in a school organization, in work, in churches, rules are there to be respected, to be able to coexist healthily, as they say, to live in a community.
The basis of every rule is respect; the other part is maturity toward them and how we view them.
