La semana pasada andaba por el C.C "Parque Costazul" y no pude resistirme a sentarme en Happy Shack, justo al ladito de Sigo y cerca de la entrada"Bambú. Ya había probado de allí sus hamburguesas, muy buenas por cierto, así que esta vez me animé a probar algo más del menú y me decidí por el choripán, que tenía un precio de tan solo $1,99. El choripan es con pan francés y salsa chimichurri, llamada “de la casa”; noté que tenía cilantro, tomate ,cebolla, pimentón y una vinagreta suave, algo diferente a la receta tradicional, pero la mezcla de sabores estaba deliciosa.
Primero llegué a la caja para hacer el pedido, cuando pagas te dan un hablador con el número del pedido y el "muñequito feliz" de la marca, te sientas y la chica te identifique entre las mesas y te lo lleva.Para los refrescos si hay que ir uno mismo a una máquina que te dará el hielo y el sabor de refresco que quieres. el tamaño del refresco me pareció bastante bien, a esa hora hacia un calor intenso y tomarlo fue la gloria, aunque debo decir que lo que mas pedían las personas eran las cervezas artesanales.
La atención fue rápida, eran las dos de la tarde, y había poco movimiento, si he visto que en la noche es que se prende más el ambiente y se siente más movido. Lo que me gusta de venir aquí es que es relajado, está semi al aire libre y es bastante fresco, no hay mucho ruido, lo que te permite conversar cómodamente. Tiene sillas de plástico y bancos de madera estilo campestre, chéveres para grupos grandes.
El Choripan estaba delicioso, el pan caliente y el chorizo tenía toque ahumado, lo volvería a pedir, eso sí, es pequeño, así que no esperes comerlo en más de tres mordicos, si tienes mucha hambre pide dos de una vez 🤣
Happy Saturday, my Hivers friends! Last week I was walking around the "Parque Costazul" C.C and couldn't resist sitting down at Happy Shack, right next to Sigo and near the Bambú entrance. I had already tried their burgers, which were very good indeed, so this time I decided to try something else on the menu and opted for the choripán, which was only £1.99. The choripan is made with French bread and chimichurri sauce, called ‘de la casa’ (house special). I noticed it had coriander, tomato, onion, paprika and a mild vinaigrette, which was a little different from the traditional recipe, but the combination of flavours was delicious.. First, I went to the counter to place my order. When you pay, they give you a buzzer with your order number and the brand's "happy little doll". You sit down, and the girl identifies you among the tables and brings your order to you. For soft drinks, you have to go to a machine yourself, which will give you ice and the flavour of soft drink you want. I thought the size of the soft drink was quite good. It was very hot at that time of day, and drinking it was heavenly, although I must say that what people ordered most were craft beers. The service was quick. It was two in the afternoon, and there weren't many people there, but I've noticed that at night the atmosphere livens up and it feels more bustling. What I like about coming here is that it's relaxed, semi-outdoor, and quite cool. There isn't much noise, which allows you to chat comfortably. It has plastic chairs and rustic wooden benches, which are great for large groups. The choripan was delicious, the bread was warm and the chorizo had a smoky flavour. I would order it again, but it is small, so don't expect to eat it in more than three bites. If you are very hungry, order two at once 🤣
