Con mucho entusiasmo, les comparto mi primera publicación aquí en @hivemargarita ¡Qué emoción ser parte de esta comunidad! Doy las gracias a nuestras queridas Hivers @rlathulerie, @sugarelys quienes no descansaron hasta hacer realidad este sueño y a @claudimar, @jesymora y @floreudys79, por ser excelente grupo de apoyo y quienes ahora forman parte activa de este gran proyecto ¡Felicidades, chicas!
Por todo lo que Margarita representa hay mucho que compartir en esta comunidad porque cuando se habla de esta Isla, no solo se habla de hermosas playas, sino también de bosques, ríos, desiertos, infraestructura, gastronomía, cultura, historia, de la calidez de su gente y mucho más. Aunque Margarita puede parecer pequeña en el mapa, hay mucho por descubrir. En los ocho años que llevo viviendo aquí, no la he conocido completa y esta comunidad es una forma maravillosa de mostrarla a quienes vivimos aquí, a quienes se han ido, a quienes quieren volver y sobre todo, a quienes quieren visitar por primera vez este pedacito de Venezuela.

With much enthusiasm, I share with you my first publication here in @hivemargarita What a thrill to be part of this community! I thank our dear Hivers @rlathulerie, @sugarelys who did not rest until this dream came true and @claudimar, @jesymora and @floreudys79, for being an excellent support group and who are now an active part of this great project Congratulations, girls! For all that Margarita represents there is a lot to share in this community because when we talk about this Island, we are not only talking about beautiful beaches, but also about forests, rivers, deserts, infrastructure, gastronomy, culture, history, the warmth of its people and much more. Although Margarita may seem small on the map, there is so much to discover. In the eight years that I have lived here, I have not known it all and this community is a wonderful way to show it to those of us who live here, to those who have left, to those who want to return and above all, to those who want to visit for the first time this little piece of Venezuela.
Y hoy quiero hablarles de una pequeña y tranquila playa que se encuentra en Porlamar, muy cerca del C.C. La Vela, en el sector Costazul. El punto de referencia más fácil para llegar es el centro Comercial donde estaba la conocida discoteca Sr. Frog, bajando por esa calle al final, encontrarás un muelle para yates y a mano derecha de ese muelle al fondo verás enormes palmeras que te darán la bienvenida a esta playita, ideal para familias con niños y personas mayores, ya que es poco profunda y no tiene olas.
And today I want to tell you about a small and quiet beach located in Porlamar, very close to La Vela shopping center, in the Costazul sector. The easiest reference point to get there is the shopping center where the well known disco Mr. Frog used to be, going down that street at the end, you will find a dock for yachts and on the right hand side of that dock at the end you will see huge palm trees that will welcome you to this little beach, ideal for families with children and elderly people, as it is shallow and has no waves.
Por las mañanas muy temprano, se observan adultos y personas mayores haciendo ejercicios acuáticos, al pasar las horas empiezan a llegar más familias y jóvenes. Hay opciones como alquilar sombrillas con mesas y sillas de plástico o de lona cerca de la orilla de la playa, pero si tienen presupuesto ajustado, puedes alquilar solo las sillas de extensión por solo $1 dólar cada una y te las ubican bajo las palmeras. Te aseguro que estarás bien protegido del sol y lo pasarás divino porque pega mucha brisa debajo de ellas. Como es temporada alta, la playa estaba más concurrida, había muchos visitantes de otras partes del país, algunos estaban alojados en el Hotel "Margarita Dynasty" el cual queda muy cerca.
In the early mornings, adults and seniors can be seen exercising in the water, and as the hours go by, more families and young people begin to arrive. There are options such as renting umbrellas with plastic or canvas tables and chairs near the shore of the beach, but if you are on a tight budget, you can rent just the extension chairs for only $1 dollar each and they will be placed under the palm trees. I assure you that you will be well protected from the sun and you will have a great time because there is a lot of breeze under them. As it is high season, the beach was more crowded, there were many visitors from other parts of the country, some were staying at the Hotel “Margarita Dynasty” which is very close.
Hace unos años, no había puestos de comidas ni bebidas, pero eso ya no es un problema, ahora los hay y venden empanadas, obleas, ceviches, pescado frito, cervezas y hasta cócteles tipo "mojitos", incluso de vez en cuando verás al señor con sus tobitos vendiendo las famosas ostras.

A few years ago, there were no food and drink stands, but that is no longer a problem, now there are and they sell empanadas, wafers, ceviches, fried fish, beers and even cocktails such as “mojitos”, even from time to time you will see the man with his tobitos selling the famous oysters.
