I have tried ignoring the awakened feelings I have for Bunmi, but it is like pouring water on a rock. My heart won't listen to my head. Don't get me wrong, I love my husband dearly, but our love is almost at its breaking point. I keep trying to make it work between us, but the more effort I put into it, the more it strains.
Why did Bunmi have to come into my life now? Why this moment? God, are you punishing me for a crime I'm unaware of? Oh gosh!
"Hey beautiful"
The deep masculine voice from across the table brought me out of my thoughts. It was Bunmi. My throat went dry as I stared into a swirling pool of black. Damn, he's gorgeous. I gulped. Why did I agree to have a lunch date with him? Gosh what am I thinking
"What are you doing tomorrow?" He asked
There it goes again. That question. The look on his face. The way his lips curl invitingly. I can't do this. No..... I shouldn't be here, I have to end this before it becomes something else "I'm pregnant Bunmi" I blurted out without a thought His eyes went wide as he stared at me.
Before he could say anything, a lady from behind placed her dainty fingers on his shoulders. She planted a slurpy kiss on his cheek catching him by surprise.
"Hey baby" she purred
Not it was my turn to be dumbfounded. What the heck!
"What are you doing here?" He asked in panic
Her eyes darted nervously from me to him.....but then.........she lashed out
"Is this your mistress! The bitch you've been sleeping with! " She yelled, catching everyone's attention.
I almost choked on my spit.
"Baby I can explain. It's not what it looks like" Bunmi said in sheer panic
That was all I needed to be knocked back into reality. Bunmi was a playboy, always has been. He cheated on me and he will always cheat.
I slowly got up, raising my left hand in the air.
"I'm happily married to my husband and I will never be anyone's mistress" I picked up my phone from the table "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go make dinner for my lovely husband"
I have to work on my own marriage. The grass was never greener on the other side.

This doesn't really matter tho, but I was stuck between two titles for this story. Dinner for two, not three which is the original title and Back to us I love this, but it sounded really common, and anyone would guess where the story would lead just by the title. Which title do you think would've been better?
