Vibes web3 music competition wk#32 I've been doing cover songs of other artists for some time now, so I thought to myself, why not do an original for week#32 since there's no theme for this week. I downloaded this beat from YouTube sometime last year and ever since I only did some simple freestyle to it. Fast forward to this year January, I was playing the instrumental and did a little freestyle to it, my roomie asked for the artist and I was shocked because I was practically singing rubbish. The tune sounded right, but the lyrics were a total mess lol. I told her it was just a freestyle and she was so impressed. Well since I remembered the tune, I decided to write an actual lyrics that made sense to the song. At some point, I was stuck ( should I say I had a singers block) I'm not sure if that's a thing hahaha......
I didn't write this song alone, but with the help of a friend. At some point I was scared of doing an original because of the constant thought of "what if it's not good enough" I was supposed to do this song for wk30,and wk31 but didn't lol.
