https://youtu.be/C2v0gMT4CFI?si=9iDoVsvlzUYxRla8 It is the Holy Spirit that directs the path of a person. We cannot do good on our own. That was the experience of Apostle Paul when we cried out for help. The flesh will not allow us to do what is good. The flesh is dominated by selfishness. That is why we need to submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit. The power to do good is not in our flesh. We can only be guided by the Holy Spirit into doing what is good.
The commandments of God are not grievous. They are light. The Lord Jesus Christ said that his yoke is not burdensome. We are unable to keep the commandments of God because our flesh always walks against the will of God. It is not a difficult thing to do what is good. Why we find it difficult is because our hearts are dominated by the works of the flesh.
The Holy Spirit is the agency that transforms a person into someone who willingly performs the will of God. At the point when we accept the doctrines of Jesus Christ and submit our hearts to follow the doctrines, we are transformed into a new man. This new man has been empowered by God through the Holy Spirit. That is the person who can do the will of God.
