The Father is the One whom we know to be the God who has shown himself from the beginning. He is the God whom our father, Abraham worshiped. He is the God who gave the Israelites the Ten Commandments through Moses.
We know the Son as our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ was manifested for the salvation of our souls from sin. He came into the world to take the punishment of our sin. He went to the cross for the punishment of our sins. He died in our place. This is the Savior of the world. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that the there is salvation for mankind. The Bible says that there is no other name given among men by which we might be saved. Salvation is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit is the third person revealed to us in the God-head. He is the God who is present with us now. This is the One who is doing all that God is doing in the church. The Almighty God is with the disciples of Jesus Christ in the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells with us. The Bible calls Him Emmanuel which means God with us. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that the church is moving forward and winning many people. Great signs and wonders are done in the midst of the brethren by the power of the Holy Spirit.
