**Aye aye, Captain!**
Hi Kahive! Today, we’re going to visit a place that will surely amaze you, together with my husband and some relatives. It was actually a one-day trip, so we went to several places. But for now, I’ll just show you this one particular destination first.
Everyone is very much welcome here and the entrance fee is affordable. Plus, they even give free snacks and drinks!
So here it is the Shiphaus in Bohol, Philippines. It’s a house shaped like a ship. The place isn’t that big, but the inside is very unique.
When you enter, you’ll be welcomed by very kind and friendly staff. I can honestly say they’re “very good” in terms of service. They really make you feel welcome.
They even have seaman uniforms you can try on if you want to really feel the place’s vibe. You can choose not to wear them, but if you want the full experience go for it! You’ll even look like a seaman yourself.
We took a lot of photos because this was such a memorable time for me and my husband.
That’s basically what we did there pictures here, pictures there, and pictures everywhere making the most out of this beautiful place.
Oh, and about the food on the table it’s fake! It’s just for display, to make it look like there’s a real feast. But my nephew, Baby Jaron, didn’t want to accept that it wasn’t real food. Of course, kids don’t really understand that kind of thing when it comes to food, they won’t stop until they get to eat! His parents found it funny and couldn’t stop laughing.
So, we just kept him entertained by taking pictures. We told him, “Be a good boy so we can take nice photos, okay?” But he was still more interested in the fake food so cute!
After a while, we got hungry, so we went up to the top floor where you can see the outside view.
You won’t see the sea here because the Shiphaus is located in the mountains. The view is mostly trees and roads, with a bit of dust from passing vehicles since it’s right beside the highway. But it’s still a nice view, and the breeze is strong and refreshing so relaxing.
By this time, my husband was already getting impatient from hunger. I told him, “Just wait a bit, love.
There are still others ahead of us, but we’ll get to eat soon. Just a little more patience.🤭”
He just posed for a “peace” sign photo while fighting off sleep and hunger. I think he was already tired from all the walking and picture-taking.
The Shiphaus is open daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. The owner is actually a ship captain, which explains the whole ship-inspired design of the house it’s truly unique.
After eating, we went back down and, of course, took more pictures everywhere we could.
Honestly, I can say that it’s such a nice place. You almost wouldn’t want to leave because you feel like you’re really inside a ship. You even start to imagine yourself as the captain maybe I’d make a good seafarer after all! It also makes you wonder what life is like for real seafarers.
But in reality, it’s not an easy life. They work hard and endure being away from their families. Their journeys are risky they’re out in the open sea, facing possible storms, strong waves, or even tornadoes. And there are stories about pirates attacking ships though I’m not sure how true that is, but they say it happens.That’s why we should all remember to pray always, because we don’t know what tomorrow holds.We need strong guardian angels and an even stronger faith in God to keep us safe. Always pray for His protection and guidance so we’ll be spared from harm.

I’ll definitely visit again once I return to Bohol. I really miss Bohol because there are so many beautiful places to explore. Next time, I’ll make sure to visit the Mirror of the World 🌍 as well and I’ll bring you along for another tour.
Here’s Captain! Make sure you do your job well, or else we might get lost—just kidding 🤭. At this time, I was with my husband, and it was so much fun because he was acting like a kid playing around 🤭. I just kept laughing, but of course, I’m there to support my husband. Honestly, it even felt real, so I just told him, “Go on, keep posing there, my husband!” haha.
