The throne in the context of this song signifies God's presence, supremacy, superiority, glory and his excellency.
God is big and mighty. He's the God of all creation and there's none like him. The good book says, "In his presence there's fullness of Joy"
This is why we should cast our cares upon him because he actually do care. In his presence we cast ourselves down at his feet forgetting about our worries, who we are and what we have.
He does miracles and great things, even mighty things. Praises move God to do that which we can't comprehend. May his name be forever praised. Amen.
