Just the other day, my family and I have decided to cut out of our hectic lives and spend some time at the beach. This is how our memorable experience looks like.
It was a chatter-music drive, and as we went along our eagerness increased with each mile. The salty smell of the ocean greeted us as we came closer to the beach and we could hear sounds of seagulls which created a lively mood.
Once there we got the best place on the sandy beach. As I watched them jump and splash, I recalled my days playing in the beach as a child as 1 played and enjoyed myself. You can see that we spent the morning in building sandcastles, more intricate each time than the other. My husband assumed the role of the main architect, and children actively collected seashells to fill their sand castle. When the sun was a little higher, we stopped to have a picnic lunch. It was a lovely lunch of sandwiches, fruit and cold drinks; and we talked and giggled and savoured the atmosphere of one another.
Then came lunch followed by some outdoor adventure. We got two paddleboards on rent and this became the best part of the day. The children enjoyed themselves and stood trying to keep their balance on the boards and they laughed and splashed as they fell into the water. My husband and I kept exchanging positions in supporting them and the next thing we knew everyone was paddling on the shore, going about the shoreline and getting a marvelous view. It was warm weather, the sea was smooth, and the water was cool. We saw schools of fish moving around us and the children shouted with joy and wanted a glimpse of the ocean on the floor.
The children, though very tired, and delightedly, cuddled up against us. We made a couple family photos shooting the happiness of the day and asking to visit this wonderful place once again.
We spent our day at the beach not only with sun and sand but with the creation of the valuable memories together with my family. The jokes, the common life and the plain pleasure of being together told us that the important things we were forgetting. I appreciate the hours that I spent with loved ones and the great moments that we made together as we packed up to get out. A day at the beach is not simply a vacation but also family, love and trojan happiness.
