A Day at the Beach in Olango Island: Cherished Moments with Friends

 The best setting to laughter and memorable experiences is the sun, sand, and waves crashing. I was recently fortunate to have a lovely day out at the beach with my friends and it proved to be one of those days that will invariably remain in my memory.   When we got settled, we did not waste much time in plunging into the ocean. The water was cool and we spent the initial couple of hours swimming, splashing, and playing games. It is so free when you are in the water and we were rolling in laughter, as we attempted to ride the waves.  The spirit of competition entered the play and we praised each other as we plunged to seize the ball and made spectacular passes. The laughing was heard all the way through the beach when we celebrated small wins and joked about each other when one of us missed.  Some time we were also spending on the construction of an epic sandcastle, towers and a moat included. It turned into a group exercise and we ended up lost in the creative nature of it. The desert between our fingers and the sun on our backs were refreshing. As we gazed upon our creation we could not help but pick up the camera to take some photos to remember the occasion.  Having got all the excitement, we resolved to rest and have a break. We lounged and absorbed the sun on our towels and had some snacks. As we chattered and talked about our favourite memories, the crashed waves in the background broke and we shared humour and memories together. There is something magical about these moments of bonding, where the time appears to be frozen.  The beach offered the right setting of an open and frank conversation, and I enjoyed such moments of weakness with my friends. It inspired me to remember the importance of having a good group of people to support and get motivated with one another.  We looked back at the day and we were thankful of the laughter, fun and the time spent together.  When we got our belongings packed and were heading home I had a feeling of satisfaction over me. It was not just the day at the beach that had cemented our relationship, but it gave us some of the best memories that we would all keep in the years to come. Friendship, adventure and time spent in simple pleasures of life are something I remember on such a day. I am eager to spend a lot of more days on beaches with my friends and make new memories and admire the beauty of the ocean together.  When we got our belongings packed and were heading home I had a feeling of satisfaction over me. It was not just the day at the beach that had cemented our relationship, but it gave us some of the best memories that we would all keep in the years to come. Friendship, adventure and time spent in simple pleasures of life are something I remember on such a day. I am eager to spend a lot of more days on beaches with my friends and make new memories and admire the beauty of the ocean together.
