I never imagined that I could love like this, and that I would experience the love you’ve been giving me. You are my first in everything, and I wouldn’t want to have it with any other man. When you came, I wasn’t looking nor waiting for love. I was just focused on my work at that time. I wasn’t ready. You waited for almost a year for us to be official. I’ve never imagined someone would do that and wait that long. I thought you’d give up, but you didn’t. You’re not the typical guy who throws cheesy or pick-up lines for girls to get kilig. Your simple ways won my heart; you would send art, your favorite songs, and share other things that seemed interesting to you.
If people would ask me, 'Bakit siya?' I’d answer, because you are just simply being you. You’ve never faked yourself. I adore you how you think, your perspective in life, and your creativity. Please don’t lose them. You taught me things that I thought I couldn’t do. You taught me how to be tough, to learn how to say ‘no’ sometimes, to be more aware of the intentions of people, and how to love myself more. You are my greatest supporter— every time I had doubts, you’re there to reassure me that I am still good enough, whatever happens. And every time you give me that support, I’m always doing well. I am forever grateful for the things you do for me, and for us.
I’ve loved you then, and I love you even more now. We’ve been together for how many years, and I’ve seen how much you’ve changed; how much we’ve changed. One of the things I really appreciate about us is that we always help and support each other to become the best version of ourselves. If only people could see what I always see in you, they’d say I’m so lucky to have you.
