NFTOPIA 5
NFTOPIA 5 was held last weekend on the 16th and 17th August. It was a 48hr event held online in the metaverse. The online convention boasted AMA's, Keynote's, Panel's and other events over the two days. With both HIVE and WAX blockchain projects showcasing their projects to the attendee's. THE HIVE PANEL
The Hive panel was at 3am for me so I only got about 2 hours sleep but I managed to get up. The panel consisted of @crimsonclad (Moderator), Blaze from @splinterlands(speaker), @ecoinstant from Moon(speaker) and Myself from @cryptoshots.nft(speaker). It was great to have the opertunity to speak on behalf of our amazing blockchain and community, the passion that we all have for Hive flowed out and showcased what a functioning decentralized community really looks like. Crimsonclad lead the conversation and got each of us to speak on matters of Hive and the projects that we are associated with. Our talk went well and people that I spoke to around the event all said that they enjoyed our panel.
CRYPTO SHOTS TOURNAMENT

This is always fun. Every weekend I look forward to playing Crypto Shots with @zillionz, @caspermoeller89, @obifenom and a recent addition to our group @fnzcmd. Oh and I can not forget about @voxton who streams for us on Sunday's and the boss man @gaottantacinque who every now and then jumps into a game. Crypto Shots has been getting some great updates lately, so if you have played before and want to check out what's changed, now is a great time to jump back into the game and see what you have been missing out on.
MINGLING AT NFTOPIA
After I finished up my stream for Crypto Shots I was free to wander around the event and mingle with the other guests. @byrontheartist was drawing a picture live at his booth and I stopped to have a chat. His art is different to what I would normally look at but there is something in his art that I just find enjoyment in looking at. His Cat and Zombie drawings are my favourite. I moved on and found Welsh Dan and some guys from Leef token having a conversation. It sounded interesting so I stopped and listened. Then Welsh Dan spoke to me and I eneded up learning about him and Rabbit being streamers and they work with projects, like Leef, and have bots developed so that you can text to earn in their live streams. This sounded cool and I will be making sure to ask them about if we could develop a bot to do the same for hive tokens. Watch this space for now.
I unfortunately had to cut my stream hear and go to work. It would not be until later tonight that I would have a chance to get back into NFTOPIA.
After spending the whole day at work thinking about NFTOPIA, and trying not to fall asleep, I managed to get back on after diner and I ran into @forkyishere.We manned the @cryptoshots.nft booth for a while and Welsh Dan turned up as well as Junglebanano and we had a chat again. But then I heard the conga line was starting so we went and joined in on that. After having fun dancing around the venue and making a human tower, we played a game of twitchy tides. Twitchy tides for those that have not heard of it is a mini game for streamers, people in the stream that have attached their wax wallet's to twitch can play using !play. If you buy fish packs or fish on the market, you can choose one of them to use in the game. They have now added a bird version of the game as well. We then dropped past Chad Miners who was having a talk about his project. Chad miners is a mining game as the name suggest where you can mine Chad token. We listened for a bit but then ventured back to the Crypto Shots booth where we played Crypto Shots while manning the booth and I screen shared the gameplay on the screen above the booth. We had a few people drop past including Anthony for Pantheon who need help setting up his Hive wallet. I tried to help him out but it appeared that he had deleted all his keys so we ended up creating a new account. Even @hivetrending who dropped past the booth tried to help him but it was no use without his keys. In the end he was able to set up a new account and he played some Crypto Shots with @forkyishere and I. In the end sleep got the better of me and after being awake for 24hours it was time to get some sleep.
The next day I was able to catch Edgy Creators who was talking about how to read the market and signs to make a profit and then dropped in on @novopangea who have a game that I had played awhile back but did not have the time to keep playing. The game has had some issues and for the time being they have chosen to take down the Novo war side of the game where you use characters to battle it out. I enjoyed it but as they said they issue is they only had a small pool of players and they ended up with levelled up cards so it made it hard when new players came into the game and could not compete. They are now just focusing on the land and resources side of the game. While they fix Novo War. Who should I find while wandering around, but @consumerbreak taking a long deserved rest in the Spar. I then took a break before my stream.
SPLINTERLANDS STREAM
For my Splinterlands livestream this week I was able man the @splinterlands booth and live stream my splinterlands games at the same time. I unfortunately did not get anyone to chat to at the booth but had a few new faces in the livestream. I gave away some starter packs on stream to my lucky viewers @ank12c and ehmaywantee. I even gave away some cards to my new viewers @lifelessliess and @druidsblood. We then raided @roguepatton to help support his stream. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2542940293
MY FINAL HOURS IN NFTOPIA
My final hours in NFTOPIA were spent chatting and walking around with Cristalla and Danishcrypto. We chatted about our time at NFTOPIA 5 and crypto related things. We dropped past @waffleskitty's booth and Pantheons banner in the gallery and claimed some free items. But in the end it was time to go. I had so much fun at this even, met so many new contacts and got some new ideas. I can not wait for the next NFTOPIA!
