I remember a season of Survivor Season 12, Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites. Caramoan Islands is located in Camarines Sur, Philippines, and is also known for its fine white-sand beaches.
Last year, we had a chance to visit Caramoan Island. It was my nephew's birthday, and they celebrated his birthday in Garchitorena, Camarines Sur. My eldest sister decided to bring us to Garchitorena for a few days, and we took the chance to go island hopping in Caramoan.
It was summer of last year. The drive from Garchitorena to Caramoan took over an hour. My sister's MIL knows someone who owns a transient. They catered to us so we could leave our things/clothes in the room and dress up. We only bought necessary things and food, of course!!

Yes, if you noticed on the last picture, the sand was a little bit destroyed. The culprit is none other than my SasaGorl. She got excited that there was a sandcastle, but she didn't know it was for display and taking pictures. Whew!
It was our first time in the Caramoan Islands. I also forgot how many islands we hopped into, but we loved how nice and peaceful the islands were. The fine white sand, clear waters, the mountains, and the summer vibe that it gives. It was so nice to breathe fresh air from the seas.
It wasn't crowded, unlike the other beaches that I have in mind. Visiting such a beach with not too many people on it would really make you feel that you needed to appreciate nature. I just hope that people would also take care of nature like how nature takes care of us.
Anyway, we relaxed and enjoyed the beach and had time with the family that we haven't had for a long time. Besides, since my family and I moved to Cebu, I only get to see my parents and my sisters once a year. Enjoy every chance and second that I get to be with my family.
Now I know why people visit the Caramoan Islands. I would love to come back there for more peaceful beach time.
