I had one of my favorite trips ever last weekend. My friends and I had a great time at the Kilpardz Beach Resort in Kawit, Medellin. The view was breathtaking, the beach was lovely, and the water was a stunning shade of blue. That day felt perfect, and I can't wait to tell you about it.

I was amazed when we eventually made it to Kilpardz Beach Resort. The sea appeared calm and blue, and the area was perfect and quiet. The wind was blowing lightly, and the sand felt good beneath your feet. There were palm trees, cottages, and huts around. It felt like a little piece of paradise. We chose a nice spot near the water and rented a small tent to keep our things and rest later. The staff at the resort were kind and friendly. They greeted us with a smile and helped us settle in.

We played and went swimming. It was quite refreshing. We played games while floating in the water as some of us had beach balls and floaters. There was a lot of shouting and laughter, but it was a positive noise, the sound of genuine enjoyment. Others in our group simply relaxed by sitting beneath the trees or lying down on the sand. Everyone was engaged in their favorite activities.

I really enjoyed taking photos during trips, so I walked around and started taking pictures. I took selfies with the sea behind me, some group photos with my friends, and even random shots of the waves and trees.

The place was so photogenic. Everywhere you look, it’s picture-perfect. The blue sky, the wide sea, the green trees, and the clean beach all made beautiful backgrounds. I posed in different angles, played in sunlight, and made sure to capture those moments. I also took photos of my friends swimming and laughing. I wanted to remember every single smile that day.
After swimming and taking pictures, we all started to feel hungry. Good thing we brought food with us and prepared for a boodle fight. A boodle fight is when you spread food on banana leaves and eat together with your hands. It’s a Filipino tradition and a very fun way to share food. We had fried chicken, liempo, fruits, and of course, lots of rice. We placed everything nicely on the banana leaves and sat around it. Eating like that with friends was so much fun. We laughed while eating, talked about the funny moments we had that day, and even fed each other. It was messy, yes, but in the best way. The food tasted great, and I think it tasted even better because we were eating it together.

Then around 5:00 PM, something even more beautiful happened. As the sun began to go down, the sky turned orange. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. The colors reflected on the water, and everything felt calm. I stopped for a while just to watch it. I didn’t want to look away.

Of course, I took more photos, but I also just stood there, enjoying the peaceful moment. The air was cool, and the sound of the waves was soft. I felt like the world slowed down for a few minutes. My friends also gathered near the shore, and we all watched the sunset together. It felt like a special ending to a perfect day.

If you’re thinking of going to the beach with your friends or family, I really suggest you visit Kilpardz Beach Resort in Kawit, Medellin. It’s simple, beautiful, and very peaceful. Whether you want to swim, take pictures, enjoy a boodle fight, or just watch the sunset, this place is perfect. I’m already looking forward to our next visit. Until then, I’ll keep looking at our photos and smiling at the memories we made. Thank you, Kilpardz, for such a beautiful and fun day
