Saludos Hivers, en estas imágenes te comparto algunos extractos de la obra "Emociones" una adaptación inspirada en la película de Disney Pixar, Intensamente (Inside Out), producida por el Teatro Colibrí y que pude disfrutar con mi mamá y mi hermano el pasado domingo, último día de la función en el teatro Trasnocho Cultural.
Y tal vez te preguntes por qué escogí una Comunidad como esta para mi post, y es que, más alla de hacer una critica sobre la obra, lo que quiero compartir es mi reflexión sobre el mensaje que me transmitió su contenido.
La obra, al igual que la película, nos transportan al centro de control de nuestra mente, donde las emociones son los personajes principales que guían nuestras acciones. Así vimos cómo cobraban vida la Alegría, la Tristeza, el Miedo, el Asco, la Ira, la Ansiedad y la Culpa. Sin embargo, tuvo mayor protagonismo el tema de la voz interior y el Ego.
Durante toda la trama hubo una batalla de voces, que iban guiando las decisiones de la protagonista, una joven que estaba justo en la edad de entrar en la adolescencia... como Yo 😁... Egolatra, personaje principal de la historia y la "malvada" dijo una frase que me impactó "Los pensamientos mueven el Mundo" y durante toda la obra estuvo sembrando zosobra en la protagonista para que actuara de acuerdo a su plan, porque lo que quería era tomar el poder del centro de control de la mente y desplazar a las emociones.
Por su parte, las emociones hicieron un gran esfuerzo por advertir a la protagonista para que aprendiera a reconocer cuando la voz que escuchaba en su cabeza provenía del Ego y cuando del corazón. Realmente creo que es algo díficil de ver, pero por lo que vi en la obra, una forma de guiarnos es con las emociones, porque cuando la voz de Egolatra hablaba, aparecían la rabia, la culpa, la ansiedad, la verguenza, y también surgían las dudas, el miedo, el arrepentimiento.
Otra frase que se me grabó fue cuando la emoción de Alegría dijo: "Es la voz del corazón la que te da un propósito y la que te guía desde tu verdadero ser, sin influencia del ego". Esta es la voz que nos conecta con nuestros valores y nuestra esencia, y por ello la mejor brújula en nuestro camino.
Finalmente, cerraron con la lección de la primera película de Intensamente: todas las emociones tienen una función, la tristeza es también parte de nuestro desarrollo, ya que no podemos ser felices todo el tiempo, y es en los momentos de tristeza donde encontramos la empatía y el verdadero crecimiento emocional.

Greetings, Hivers! In these images, I share with you some excerpts from the play “Emotions,” an adaptation inspired by the Disney Pixar film Inside Out, produced by Teatro Colibrí, which I enjoyed with my mom and brother last Sunday, the last day of the run at the Trasnocho Cultural theater.
And you may wonder why I chose a community like this for my post. The fact is that, beyond critiquing the work, what I want to share is my reflection on the message conveyed by its content.
The play, like the movie, transports us to the control center of our minds, where emotions are the main characters that guide our actions. We saw how Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, Anger, Anxiety, and Guilt came to life. However, the theme of the inner voice and the Ego took center stage.
Throughout the plot, there was a battle of voices guiding the decisions of the protagonist, a young girl who was just entering adolescence... like me 😁... Egolatra, the main character of the story and the “villain,” said a phrase that struck me: “Thoughts move the world.” Throughout the play, she sowed anxiety in the protagonist so that she would act according to her plan, because what she wanted was to take control of the mind and displace the emotions.
For their part, the emotions made a great effort to warn the protagonist to learn to recognize when the voice she heard in her head came from the Ego and when it came from the heart. I really think it's something difficult to see, but from what I saw in the play, one way to guide us is through emotions, because when the voice of Egolatra spoke, anger, guilt, anxiety, and shame appeared, and doubts, fear, and regret also arose.
Another phrase that stuck with me was when Joy said, “It is the voice of the heart that gives you purpose and guides you from your true self, without the influence of the ego.” This is the voice that connects us to our values and our essence, and therefore the best compass on our journey.
Finally, they closed with the lesson from the first Inside Out movie: all emotions have a function, sadness is also part of our development, since we cannot be happy all the time, and it is in moments of sadness that we find empathy and true emotional growth.
