Hello everyone, today I'll be taking you into the garden to pick apples for pickling. At our house, we have an apple tree. These green apples are quite sour and perfect for pickling.
This is my second attempt at making pickled apples. The first time I made them, they turned out delicious, so I wanted to share it with you all. If you enjoy pickled foods and processed foods,
Ingredients - 2 green apples - 400 ml water - 1 tablespoon salt - 120 grams sugar - 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Method
- Wash the apples, cut them into pieces, and soak them in brine to prevent them from turning brown. Let them soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Next, make the apple brine by bringing water to a boil, then add salt, sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until the salt and sugar dissolve. Turn off the heat and let the brine cool.
- Once the brine has cooled, rinse the sliced ββapples with the brine and arrange them in a glass jar or, if you don't have one, a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. After class, I took the boiled apple juice and let it cool, then poured it over the apples in a glass jar until full.
- Then, I put the glass jar in the refrigerator for about seven days. It's ready to eat. If you don't finish it, you can close the lid tightly and refrigerate it again.
And here's pickled apples made from apples picked from our garden. They're delicious and can be stored for a long time. I love them so much. I make a dipping sauce to go with them to add a bit of spiciness, depending on your preference. Or, you can eat them plain. They're delicious and crunchy, just like pickled mangoes or other pickled fruits. And this is how I make pickled apples. If anyone wants to try it, follow this recipe.
