LOH#236: Recalling My Last Vacation

Hi, ladies.. nice to greet you. This week's topic really caught my attention. This time we will discuss about vacation. Surely everyone really likes vacation, right? To get rid of all the fatigue from work and our daily activities. However, unlike me, instead of vacation, a few weeks ago I was busy helping my cousin prepare a wedding. _____  _____ A wedding is a very joyful moment. As a family, we definitely want the best wedding party for our cousin. The many invited guests from the bride and groom and some of our relatives who came from out of town. Making me and my family busy preparing the party. And luckily the party went according to our plan and of course we were all happy. _____  _____ Discussing dream vacations. Actually, my husband and I are planning to take our children on vacation to Gemah Beach at the end of the school holidays. It takes us about 2 hours to get to the beach. Frankly, I like to look for tourist attractions that are still in the same city as where I live. It's not that we don't like to stay overnight, it's more precisely because my husband's job doesn't allow him to take too long off. _____  _____ By the way, do you like going on vacation to the beach? I really like the beach, you could say it's my favorite vacation spot. And luckily my husband and son also like it. Being in an open natural environment like the beach makes our bodies and minds fresh again. I love being able to enjoy the waves and the sunset in the afternoon, jogging around the beach, letting my feet play with the soft sand, making sand castles with my son or just joking around while scribbling our names on the wet sand and letting them disappear swept away by the waves. Simple but very fun, right? _____  _____ Actually, I've visited Gemah Beach before, but that was a long time ago. I even forgot the month and year. Hahaha ... Here I will also share some of my old photos when we first visited Gemah Beach. At that time we only followed the directions given by my friends because they had visited the beach first. Forgive me for not knowing Google Maps at that time. Hahaha _____  _____ During the trip, I was not sure whether the route given by my friend was correct. Because we had entered narrow and steep roads. I was a little worried that we would get lost. Thankfully we arrived there safely. And all the journey was paid off with a beautiful and natural beach atmosphere. Maybe because it has only been open for public tourism for a few months. I really can't wait for my child's school holidays to arrive and we can visit the beach again. Hopefully the beauty is still the same as the first time we visited it.
