One of the most memorable exams we had was when our lecturer asked us to design a seat in the form of a tree. The rule was that the seat had to be above twelve inches in height, and we were to work in pairs—two people on one tree seat design. Unfortunately, I wasn’t around when the grouping was done, so I ended up working on mine alone. At first, it felt overwhelming, but I told myself I would still complete it no matter what.

The process was exhausting because some of the clay I had was too wet, making it difficult to shape and control. Still, I pushed through and kept working. I didn’t sleep for 24 hours straight, just focusing on finishing my tree seat. Despite all the stress, I managed to complete it even before most of my classmates who worked in pairs. That exam was tough, but it taught me resilience, time management, and how much can be achieved when you stay determined, even under pressure.
