Education has a role in shaping a person's future and the nation. This was one of the greatest gifts my parent gave me, even though it seems hard in a nation like Nigeria. Education is an eye-opener to everyone, including my friends. I can even imagine how I will think or respond to situations around me without education.

In a developing country like Nigeria, education seems easy but complex. Most people, including teachers, try to put in their best to become the best at what they do, and they also expect us to become that way. My University days were some of the hardest days, my lecturer often wanted the best of us, but it was looking too extreme.
In my country, both boys and girls are allowed to pursue their education to the highest level they wish to pursue it. This is one factor I like about our education system. The same advantage boys have to manage a career, women can also participate in this career act, and there are no laws that are against their engagement or participation.
My education process in my country was from Nursery school, which we used 2 years, then primary school, I used 6 years in primary school, and I still remember my experiences in school back then and every lecture we did back then, even the beating i collected then before it was restricted in nigeria, then after primary school is the the junior secondary school, which is 3 years then another 3 years for senior secondary school, which is anther 6 years. It took a lot of time for me to understand this. My years in his secondary school, both junior and senior secondary school, were some of my best years. I enjoyed every moment then, and I will say it was really fun getting to experience a lot of things like this. Then my University days, which were meant to be 4 years, but we ended up using 5/6 years because of COVID-19, I enjoyed every moment of it.
Being educated has made me an outstanding person in my country. In a developing country like Nigeria, where everyone strives to work things out for themself and everyone around them, being educated can make one stand out from others, especially in the job market.
The structure of our education in my country, especially the curriculum schools follow, is very poor, because most of the content we are being taught is outdated, unlike that in the USA and China, which are more advanced. Even medical doctors in Nigeria have to travel abroad to advance themself. This is why, after University, I have to go and advance or learn a skill that will shape us into better people in the future, especially when we are in a more advanced world of technology.
We need to advance ourselves in this country, but the situation of things is that most people who tend to move forward or make money tend to run outside of the country instead of investing in the country in order to improve their lives.
