Recorrer los museos de caracas se volvió uno de mis planes favoritos, no importa si ya he ido mil veces siempre los disfruto un montón, esta vez tenía ganas de conocer el Museo de la estampa y el diseño "Carlos Cruz Diez" y a la primera oportunidad que se me presentó para ir no la quise desaprovechar. El museo fue fundado por el mismo Carlos Cruz Diez el 17 de septiembre de 1997 donde destaca su trayectoria como diseñador del país y las múltiples cosas que hizo durante su carrera que aportaron un granito de arena por Venezuela ✨. En el primer piso nos encontramos con un montón de cuadros de ilusiones llamados "Fisicromias" donde dependiendo del ángulo por dónde lo veas tiene un diseño diferente . Este tipo de diseños es muy característico en el y una de las obras que más reconocemos los venezolanos es la Cromointerferencia de Color Aditivo ubicado en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Maiquetía, un camino que se volvió tan nostálgico para muchos de los millones de venezolanos que han emigrado a distintas partes del mundo, y que caminan esos colores con una maleta en mano y miles de sueños y sentimientos a flor de piel 🥹. También hay varias obras hechas con un material que parece papel de colores transparentes que juegan a ser un laberinto, al igual que unos semicírculos. 😌

Visiting museums in Caracas has become one of my favorite things to do. It doesn't matter if I've been there a thousand times, I always enjoy them immensely. This time, I wanted to visit the Carlos Cruz Diez Museum of Printmaking and Design, and when the first opportunity arose, I didn't want to miss it. The museum was founded by Carlos Cruz Diez himself on September 17, 1997, highlighting his career as a designer in the country and the many things he did during his career that contributed to Venezuela. ✨ On the first floor, we found a lot of optical illusion paintings called “Fisicromias,” which have a different design depending on the angle from which you view them. This type of design is very characteristic of him, and one of the works that Venezuelans recognize most is the Cromointerferencia de Color Aditivo (Additive Color Interference) located at Maiquetía International Airport, a path that has become so nostalgic for many of the millions of Venezuelans who have emigrated to different parts of the world, walking through those colors with a suitcase in hand and thousands of dreams and feelings on the surface. 🥹. There are also several works made with a material that looks like transparent colored paper that plays with being a maze, as well as semicircles. 😌

Mi parte favorita sin duda fue la "Cámara de cromo saturación" un lugar sumamente pulcro donde iluminan colores fluorescentes como el naranja, el fucsia, el verde y el azul es simplemente un espectáculo ese lugar no solo porque las fotos quedan increíbles sino que genuinamente genera una serie de cosas maravillosas estar en ese cuarto lleno de colores tan vivos, personalmente me despertó una sensación tan hermosa de cuánto amo la vida, de como me gusta disfrutarla lo más que se pueda y eso me inundó de una felicidad única, creo que para cada persona será una experiencia diferente Pero igual de maravillosa. ✨ Cómo es un espacio que tiene que estar sumamente limpio para no distraer a los visitantes con ese tipo de cosas, es obligatorio ponerse botas quirúrgicas para entrar al lugar así que si deseas tomarte fotos y te molesta que se vea eso en tus zapatos, solo tomalas de la rodilla para arriba 😂.

My favorite part was definitely the “Chrome Saturation Room,” an extremely neat place where they illuminate fluorescent colors like orange, fuchsia, green, and blue are illuminated. It's simply spectacular, not only because the photos turn out incredible, but also because being in that room filled with such vivid colors genuinely generates a series of wonderful things. Personally, it awakened in me such a beautiful feeling of how much I love life, how I like to enjoy it as much as possible, and that flooded me with a unique happiness. I think it will be a different experience for each person, but equally wonderful. ✨ Since it's a space that has to be extremely clean so as not to distract visitors with that kind of thing, it's mandatory to wear surgical boots to enter the place, so if you want to take photos and you don't want your shoes to show, just take them from the knee up.

Después entramos en un espacio donde hay puros cuadros geométricos y cromáticos donde incluso te colocan lentes 3D para apreciar mejor la estética del cuadro y lo que el artista quería transmitir en ese plano espiritual, intuitivo y trascendente ✨. Casi al final del recorrido del museo hay un cuadro gigante en la pared con una linea del tiempo de Carlos Cruz Diez dónde relata toda su trayectoria, desde donde nació, en la parroquia La Pastora en Caracas y como desde pequeño se interesó en las bellas artes, estudio y se graduó como profesor de las Bellas Artes en Caracas y su carrera lo fue llevando por todo el mundo desde Venezuela hasta París, así como múltiples ciudades en Latinoamérica y el resto del mundo. También es el fundador del Estudio de artes visuales dónde se encargan de preparar a los futuros profesionales en el área, ademas de ser profesor en la Universidad Central de Venezuela e incluso fue el que diseño la estética del cielo del aula magna de la UCV. En pocas palabras fue uno de los diseñadores más consagrados de nuestro país y hoy en día su arte se trasmite por todo el mundo Pero sobre todo, su historia se deja saber por cada una de las personas que visitan su museo e indagan en su historia. Este es uno de mis museos favoritos y que honor compartir mi experiencia con ustedes e invitarlos a visitarlo en algún momento. Then we entered a space filled with geometric and chromatic paintings, where they even gave us 3D glasses to better appreciate the aesthetics of the paintings and what the artist wanted to convey on a spiritual, intuitive, and transcendent level ✨. Near the end of the museum tour, there is a giant painting on the wall with a timeline of Carlos Cruz Diez's life, recounting his entire career, from where he was born, in the parish of La Pastora in Caracas, and how he became interested in the fine arts from an early age. He studied and graduated as a professor of Fine Arts in Caracas, and his career took him all over the world, from Venezuela to Paris, as well as to many cities in Latin America and the rest of the world. He is also the founder of the Visual Arts Studio, which trains future professionals in the field, as well as being a professor at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and even designing the aesthetics of the ceiling of the UCV's main lecture hall. In short, he was one of the most renowned designers in our country, and today his art is known throughout the world. But above all, his story is shared by each of the people who visit his museum and delve into his history.
