Museo Sacro 🏛️// Sacred Museum 🏛️

Desde hace tiempo tenía ganas de conocer el Museo Sacro ubicado en la plaza Bolivar de Caracas, lugar que sirvió como antiguo cementerio de la catedral en los años 1800 aproximadamente donde se dice que todavía hay cuerpo de esos años enterrados allí. Todavía permanecen los calabozos dónde metían presa a la gente que pensaba distinto a la religión e incluso, tenían un espacio para realizarles el juicio a los condenados claramente no eran muy justos que digamos.🥴 El lugar tiene un costo de 3$ la entrada, y lo primero que te encuentras es un espacio dedicado a homenajear al doctor José Gregorio Hernández, hay muchas pinturas que describen las diferentes facetas de el, todo en honor a nuestro santo venezolano ✨. Como mencioné el lugar era una carcel para los que no seguían la religión y cementerio de la catedral, por lo que hay muchas figuras religiosas y cosas afines a ella, como la vestimenta de un papa en específico, de santos, imágenes de San Miguel arcangel y muchas figuras religiosas más. En el medio del museo hay un espacio de cesped donde hay lapidas de diferentes cuerpos que fueron enterrados allí en la antigüedad. El lugar es muy frio y tenebroso por toda la historia que trae así que al primer ruido extraño decidimos correr 😂, a estas alturas no estamos para que los espíritus nos lleven. Por la compra de tu entrada te dan un pase para la Casa Amarilla, dónde está la biblioteca de Óscar Yánez famoso periodista venezolano que realmente vale la pena visitar 😌. For a long time, I had wanted to visit the Sacred Museum located in Bolivar Square in Caracas, a place that served as the old cemetery of the cathedral in the 1800s, where it is said that bodies from that era are still buried there. The dungeons where people who thought differently from the religion were imprisoned still remain, and there was even a space for the trials of those condemned, which were clearly not very fair.🥴 The entrance fee is $3, and the first thing you encounter is a space dedicated to honoring Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. There are many paintings depicting different aspects of his life, all in honor of our Venezuelan saint. As I mentioned, the place was a prison for those who did not follow the religion and a cemetery for the cathedral, so there are many religious figures and related items, such as the vestments of a specific pope, saints, images of Saint Michael the Archangel, and many other religious figures. In the middle of the museum, there is a grassy area with tombstones of different bodies that were buried there in ancient times. The place is very cold and scary because of all the history it carries, so at the first strange noise we decided to run 😂. At this point, we're not in the mood for spirits to take us away. When you buy your ticket, you get a pass to the Casa Amarilla, where the library of Óscar Yánez, a famous Venezuelan journalist, is located, which is really worth visiting 😌.
