Un día en La Guaira 🌊✨// A day in La Guaira 🌊✨

Hoy vengo a contarles sobre mi paseo en la playa, Yo vivo en la Ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela y allí estamos a 30 minutos de las playas de La Guaira y aunque no voy muy seguido ya que no soy muy fan de la playa está vez decidí ir porque ya hacía falta un poco de arenita y playita para renovar el alma, limpiar un poco las energías y agarrar un poco de calorcito 😅. Realmente a mí no me gusta mucho la playa es por el sol, nunca nos las hemos llevado bien ya que yo soy muy blanca y me bronceo muy rápido así que al final del día estoy del color de un camarón y me duele, además de que me hace doler la cabeza tanta exposición al sol así que no me la paso muy bien que digamos. Ya como he logrado darme cuenta de las cosas que pasan en mi me cuido un montón con respecto al protector solar, no exponerme al sol, siempre tener gorras o algo que me cubra y lentes de sol, esos jamás me faltan así sean para salir a comprar algo, siempre están. En esta ocasión, baje con toda la buena actitud del mundo a disfrutar de un viaje en familia aprovechando que tenía dos familiares aquí que no viven en esta ciudad, de hecho viven muy lejos de la playa así que cuando están en Caracas lo primero que hacen es bajar a La Guaira y disfrutar del calor que la costa nos brinda.

Today I come to tell you about my walk on the beach, I live in the city of Caracas, Venezuela and there we are 30 minutes from the beaches of La Guaira and although I do not go very often as I'm not a big fan of the beach this time I decided to go because I needed a little sand and beach to renew the soul, clean a little energy and grab a little warmth 😅. I don't really like the beach because of the sun, we never got along well because I'm very white and I tan very quickly so at the end of the day I'm the color of a shrimp and it hurts, plus it makes my head hurt so much exposure to the sun so I don't have a very good time. Since I have managed to realize the things that happen to me, I take care of myself a lot with respect to sunscreen, not to expose myself to the sun, always have hats or something to cover me and sunglasses, I never miss them, even if it's just to go out to buy something, they are always there. On this occasion, I went down with all the good attitude in the world to enjoy a family trip taking advantage of the fact that I had two relatives here who do not live in this city, in fact they live far away from the beach so when they are in Caracas the first thing they do is to go down to La Guaira and enjoy the warmth that the coast offers us.

Desde temprano ya estábamos listos y en camino ya que como está muy cerca todo el mundo baja a la playa, es muy común hacer planes con amigos de bajar a la playa un día y al día siguiente ya se está cumpliendo. Para bajar a La Guaira hay varias opciones:

• La primera bajar con carro particular así tu eliges la hora de llegada y de salida de la playa, llevas todas las cosas que tú consideres necesarias y claramente es mucho más cómodo.
• La segunda es por autobuses que salen desde distintas partes de Caracas hacia La Guaira, obviamente por ser transporte público no te dan muchas opciones de playas para ir,así que te ponen las plata más cercanas o las más famosas y tienes horarios y sitios específicos para agarrar el autobús.... Estás un poco más limitado.

En nuestro caso íbamos en carro particular, y ya que salimos temprano llegamos allá como a las 10:00 am, nuestro destino fue "Playa ecológico Surfista", está ubicada un poco más allá de la cinta costera de La Guaira y es una playa muy buena para pasar el rato en familia ya que no tiene un oleaje fuerte, es bastante plana y no está muy alejada. Ademas es el sitio preferido para las personas que juegan pádel ya que es muy común ver personas jugando en la orilla de la playa 🏓.

Early in the morning we were ready and on our way, since it is very close, everybody goes down to the beach, it is very common to make plans with friends to go down to the beach one day and the next day it is already being fulfilled. To go down to La Guaira there are several options:

• The first is to go down with a private car so you choose the time of arrival and departure from the beach, you take all the things you consider necessary and it is clearly much more comfortable.
• The second is by buses that leave from different parts of Caracas to La Guaira, obviously being public transport does not give you many options of beaches to go, so they put you the nearest or the most famous beaches and you have specific times and places to catch the bus..... You are a bit more limited.

In our case we were going by private car, and since we left early we arrived there at about 10:00 am, our destination was "Playa Ecologico Surfista", it is located a little further from the coastal strip of La Guaira and it is a very good beach to hang out with the family since it does not have a strong swell, it is quite flat and it is not very far away. It is also a favorite place for people who play paddle since it is very common to see people playing on the shore of the beach 🏓.

Nosotros decidimos llevar sandwiches de jamón y queso para el desayuno ya que es algo que no se daña si no está refrigerado y sobre todo se puede comer a temperatura ambiente. Para el almuerzo, llevamos pan canilla y preparamos una ensalada de atún, esa si la metimos en hielo para que se conservara ya que eran verduras. Ademas de eso llevamos chucherías para pasar el rato e ir calmando el apetito ya que no íbamos a tener un plato fuerte y completo como normalmente lo haríamos a la hora del almuerzo. Para las bebidas compraron agua primordialmente, refrescos, cervezas y sangrías en latas que sin duda son mis preferidas ya que refrescan un montón. Cómo a veces no todo es estar metido en la playa y nosotros no jugamos padel 😅 había que llevar algo para hacer cuando estuvieramos en la arena así que se me ocurrió llevar cartas de uno y fue la mejor decisión posible porque además de que entretiene, es muy divertido 😌.

We decided to take ham and cheese sandwiches for breakfast since it is something that does not get damaged if it is not refrigerated and above all can be eaten at room temperature. For lunch, we took some shredded bread and prepared a tuna salad, which we put in ice to preserve it since it was vegetables. Besides that, we brought some snacks to pass the time and to calm our appetite since we were not going to have a complete main course as we normally would at lunchtime. For drinks we bought water, sodas, beers and sangrias in cans, which without a doubt are my favorite as they are very refreshing. How sometimes not everything is to be stuck on the beach and we do not play paddle 😅 we had to bring something to do when we were on the sand so I thought to bring cards of one and it was the best possible decision because besides that it entertains, it is very fun 😌.

En esta ocasión unos muchachos llevaron unos tambores y se pusieron a tocar en la playa 🏖️, la gente poco a poco se les iba acercando y aglomerando para bailar en una ronda ya que como buenos venezolanos donde escuchamos tambor, para allá vamos 😂. Lo bueno de La Guaira y específicamente esa plata es que le pega un sol increíble y las fotos realmente quedan hermosas, anexo evidencias porque realmente el sol ayuda un montón ✨. Algo más para acotar es que todas las playas tienen su propio estacionamiento claramente y algunas tienen la facilidad de que puedes meter el carro hasta el toldo que elegiste o pusiste, así que es mucho más cómodo. Esta playa en particular no tiene el estacionamiento tan lejos de los toldos, están muy cerca y bien organizados a demás de personas que cuidan a los carros. Además de eso, la playa cuenta con salvavidas localizados en varias parte del la Playa Surfista, ahora hasta tienen casitas típicas del salvavidas 🛟.

On this occasion some guys brought some drums and started to play on the beach 🏖️, people were gradually approaching them and crowding to dance in a round because as good Venezuelans where we hear drum, there we go 😂. The good thing about La Guaira and specifically that silver is that it hits an incredible sun and the photos are really beautiful, annex evidence because the sun really helps a lot ✨. Something else to note is that all the beaches clearly have their own parking lot and some have the facility that you can put the car up to the awning that you chose or put, so it is much more comfortable. This particular beach does not have the parking lot so far away from the awnings, they are very close and well organized as well as people who take care of the cars. Besides that, the beach has lifeguards located in several parts of the Playa Surfista, now they even have typical lifeguard houses 🛟.
