Un día sobre hielo 🧊// A day on ice 🧊

El fin de semana hice un montón de cosas demasiado divertidas, mi prima quería un día lleno de aventuras por su cumpleaños que se acercaba y pidió que la llevaran para una pista de patinaje sobre hielo que pusieron en la ciudad, es un local nuevo así que nos dios curiosidad. Hace algunos años fuimos para El Ávila y mi prima mayor @Eldiariodelys y yo pudimos patinar en la pista de hielo que hay allí pero la más pequeña no porque no cumplía con la edad que se requería, así que ha estado con ese sueño desde hace más de 9 años 🥴. No solo fuimos para la pista sino también a conocer un poco más de la historia que nos trae esta ciudad, como el museo de transporte donde tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar la feria de comida y de puestos donde venden cualquier tipo de cosas ya sean usadas o nuevas..... Toda una experiencia increíble.

This weekend I did a lot of things too much fun, my cousin wanted a day full of adventures for her birthday that was coming up and asked to be taken to an ice skating rink that they put in the city, it's a new place so we were curious. A few years ago we went to El Avila and my older cousin @Eldiariodelys and I were able to skate on the ice rink there but the younger one didn't because she didn't meet the required age, so she's been with that dream for more than 9 years 🥴. Not only we went for the rink but also to know a little more of the history that this city brings us, like the transportation museum where we had the opportunity to visit the food fair and stalls where they sell any kind of things either used or new..... Quite an incredible experience.

La primera visita que hicimos en el día fue al museo de transporte, un lugar increíble donde te muestra como eran hace ya bastantes años atrás. El primer sitio donde entramos fue el de los carros antiguos, desde camiones de coca cola y helados efe, hasta un Mercedes descapotable y un carro de carrera de fórmula 2. Habían de todos los modelos, incluso hasta los que se prendían manualmente con una palanca. Después de salir de ese espacio fuimos a ver las locomotoras, lastimosamente no se podían montar en ellas pero me gustó mucho que hayan recreado los rieles con piedras y todo. Los tenés tenían hasta campañas ya que en ese tiempo esa era la bocina. Allí mismo estaba la pequeña feria de comida donde nos sentamos a beber unas maletas y a comernos unos pastelitos de masa madre rellenos con pollo,aceitunas y pasas que sin duda estaban deliciosos 🤤.

The first visit we made during the day was to the transportation museum, an incredible place where you can see what it was like many years ago. The first place we entered was the one with the old cars, from coca cola and efe ice cream trucks, to a Mercedes convertible and a formula 2 race car. There were all models, even those that could be started manually with a lever. After leaving that space we went to see the locomotives, unfortunately you could not ride on them but I really liked that they had recreated the rails with stones and everything. The tenes even had campaigns because at that time that was the horn. Right there was the little food fair where we sat down to drink some suitcases and eat some sourdough pastries filled with chicken, olives and raisins that were delicious 🤤.

Pasamos a la feria de cosas variadas dónde habían desde juguetes y muñequitos usados hasta libros, imágenes religiosas y todo tipo de cosas que te puedas imaginar como una feria de garage. Hasta terminé comprando unos Minions increíble de juguetes jaja, soy súper fanática de ellos y a penas los ví quedé enamorada y no pude evitar comprarlos. Seguimos el recorrido de los transportes y era momento de pasar para el área de las carretas y los transportes de época, esa sección no me gustó ya que se sentía una vibra muy pesada no se si era ambientación por esa época o realmente era así,el punto es que habían de todo también, hasta un transporte escolar en carreta 😂. Por último pasamos a mi parte favorita del museo la sección de los aviones 🛩️✈️, también habían de todos tipo, desde el segundo avión presidencial, el avión del correo, el globo aerostático que en su momento intentó despegar pero de cayó, avionetas entre otras. Sin duda lo más bello del museo. La entrada a este museo es completamente gratis y se puede llegar desde el parque del este.

We went to the fair of various things where there were from toys and used dolls to books, religious images and all kinds of things you can imagine like a garage fair. I even ended up buying some amazing Minions toys haha, I'm a huge fan of them and as soon as I saw them I fell in love and couldn't help but buy them. We continued the tour of the transports and it was time to go to the area of the wagons and vintage transports, I didn't like that section because it felt a very heavy vibe, I don't know if it was the atmosphere for that time or it was really like that, the point is that there was everything too, even a school transport in a wagon 😂. Finally we went to my favorite part of the museum, the airplanes section 🛩️✈️, there were also all kinds, from the second presidential plane, the mail plane, the hot air balloon that once tried to take off but fell, small planes among others. Undoubtedly the most beautiful of the museum. The entrance to this museum is completely free and can be reached from the east park.

Después pasamos a dar una vuelta en el parque del este ya que queda al lado, visitamos la piedra donde mi tío le propuso matrimonio a mi tia hace 27 años y fue muy memorable ese momento ❤️, además aprovechamos para pasar al planetario Humboldt ubicado en el parque y que experiencia más espectacular tuvimos. No pude grabar ni tomar fotos del momento porque no están permitidos los celulares, pero se los recomiendo un montón, la entrada tiene un costo de 2$ y cada día hay un tema diferente, en mi caso me tocó sobre las constelaciones y fue realmente mágico y hermoso, de verdad es una experiencia que deberían de vivir ✨. Después de caminar un rato por el parque y reporta el aire puro que nos regala, al fin era hora de irnos a la pista de hielo 🧊.

Then we went for a walk in the east park as it is next door, we visited the stone where my uncle proposed to my aunt 27 years ago and it was very memorable that moment ❤️, we also took the opportunity to go to the Humboldt planetarium located in the park and what a spectacular experience we had. I could not record or take pictures of the moment because cell phones are not allowed, but I recommend it a lot, the entrance fee is 2$ and every day there is a different theme, in my case it was about the constellations and it was really magical and beautiful, it really is an experience that you should live ✨. After walking around the park for a while and reporting the fresh air it gives us, it was finally time to go to the ice rink 🧊.

Llegamos y el lugar estaba súper increíble para ir a pasar un rato con amigos, realmente no estaba lleno y la pista solo tenía unas pocas personas, además en el lugar hay un pequeño bar y zona de comedia, al igual de algunas mesas de pool que son super divertidas para jugar con amigos. La entrada costó 10$ por 20 minutos y la verdad si que son suficientes, te dan tus patines y protección en las rodillas y casco si lo deseas. La pista cuenta con una especie de andaderas para que no te caigas patinando, aunque para ser sincera las odie y patine sin necesitarlas aunque me caí un par de veces súper graciosas 😂. Eso era risa y risa con mis primas en esa pista y llegó un momento en dónde estuvimos solas y fue mucho más divertido, así cuando una de caía no pasábamos pena con los demás jaja, fueron muchas fotos increíbles y recuerdos inolvidables ❤️✨. Después de esos eternos 20 minutos era hora de comer así que fuimos a un restaurante muy lindo que quedaba cerca llamado "La sabana del pollo" y que comida y atención más espectacular 😌.

We arrived and the place was super awesome to go hang out with friends, it really wasn't crowded and the rink only had a few people, also in the place there is a small bar and comedy area, as well as some pool tables that are super fun to play with friends. The entrance cost 10$ for 20 minutes and the truth is that they are enough, they give you your skates and protection on your knees and helmet if you want. The rink has a kind of walkers so you don't fall while skating, although to be honest I hated them and skated without needing them although I fell a couple of times super funny 😂. That was laughter and laughter with my cousins in that rink and there came a time where we were alone and it was much more fun, so when one of us fell we didn't feel sorry for the others haha, there were many incredible photos and unforgettable memories ❤️✨. After those eternal 20 minutes it was time to eat so we went to a very nice restaurant that was nearby called “La sabana del pollo” and what a spectacular food and attention 😌.
