¡Saludos amigos y amigas de Hive y de la Comunidad SWC! Feliz inicio de semana para todos. Es un grato placer para mi volver a compartir algo de lo que me apasiona acá en Hive. Han pasado unos cuantos días desde que se celebró la 4ta Edición de la Street Workout Duals Battles (SWDB) en el Centro Comercial Parque Los Aviadores, pero un post más completo sobre este evento no podía pasarlo por alto.
Greetings friends of Hive and the SWC Community! Happy start of the week to all of you. It's a pleasure for me to be back to share some of what I'm passionate about here at Hive. It's been a few days since the 4th Edition of the Street Workout Duals Battles (SWDB) was held at the Parque Los Aviadores Mall, but a more complete post about this event couldn't pass it by.

Aún recuerdo ese increíble día y es que, nadie se esperaba que fuera a estar presente un atleta élite del Street Workout. Cuando vi las fotos el día que llegó al país yo sinceramente no lo podía creer, me impresionó y emocionó muchísimo, pero la verdadera emoción se sintió el día del evento ya que, Tony iba a hacer su presentación, algo que todos esperábamos.
I still remember that incredible day, nobody expected an elite Street Workout athlete to be there. When I saw the photos the day he arrived in the country I honestly could not believe it, I was very impressed and excited, but the real excitement was felt the day of the event because Tony was going to make his presentation, something we were all waiting for.

Aún cuando la competencia no empezaba ya había bastante público esperando, pues esta disciplina siempre ha llamado la atención. Esta vez no solo fui espectadora sino que también tuve la oportunidad (Una vez más) de hacer una exhibición para incentivar a más chicas a practicar la Calistenia. Sinceramente, me dio algo de nervios tener que hacer algo frente a Tony porque el está acostumbrado a ver chicas con muchísimo más nivel, y lo que yo iba a mostrar no era tan avanzado, pero sus aplausos me llenaron de motivación.
Even when the competition hadn't even started there was already a big crowd waiting, as this discipline has always attracted a lot of attention. This time I was not only a spectator but also had the opportunity (once again) to do an exhibition to encourage more girls to practice Calisthenics. Honestly, I was a bit nervous to have to do something in front of Tony because he is used to see girls with much more level, and what I was going to show was not so advanced, but his applause filled me with motivation.

Una vez iniciada la competencia se sentía la emoción de los atletas que iban a competir. La mayoría de los que participaron son chicos nuevos que no conocía pero de igual forma, para ser su primera vez, fue bueno que hayan vencido sus miedos de esa manera. Debo admitir que uno de mis momentos favoritos fue cuando compitieron mis dos grandes amigos Jesus y Milano. Su participación me llenó de felicidad ya que desde mi punto de vista, lo hicieron excelente. A pesar de las caídas, para mi fueron los mejores. 💪🏻 Estas son algunas de las fotos que les tomé en su participación.
Once the competition started you could feel the excitement of the athletes who were going to compete. Most of those who participated were new guys that I didn't know but still, for their first time, it was good that they overcame their fears like that. I must admit that one of my favourite moments was when my two great friends Jesus and Milano competed. Their participation filled me with happiness because from my point of view, they did excellent. Despite the falls, for me they were the best. 💪🏻 These are some of the photos I took of their participation.

En uno de los descansos ya por culminar la competencia, Manuel Ramos el CEO de SWC, me preguntó si deseaba hacer mi exhibición en ese momento o dejarlo para el final. Como ya me había animado le dije que prefería hacerlo de una vez. En mi presentación pude hacer una parada de manos en las mini paralelas y luego bajar en tuck para realizar la V-Sit. Luego de eso, fui a la barra fija e hice un back lever en straddle, subí con un pull over para luego realizar una V-Sit en la barra alta (Admito que tenía mucho tiempo sin hacerla en barra alta y creí que me iba a caer, pero gracias a Dios no fue así 🫠💪🏻). Bajé de la barra con una salida de ángel y así finalicé mi presentación. Al bajarme, y para mi gran sorpresa, Tony se había acercado a felicitarme y me pidió que nos tomáramos una foto juntos, sin duda alguna, fue un momento inolvidable para mi.
In one of the breaks at the end of the competition, Manuel Ramos, the CEO of SWC, asked me if I wanted to do my exhibition at that moment or leave it for the end. As I was already in the mood, I told him that I would prefer to do it at once. In my presentation I was able to do a handstand on the mini parallel bars and then tuck down to perform the V-Sit. After that, I went to the fixed bar and did a back lever on straddle, went up with a pull over and then did a V-Sit on the high bar (I admit I hadn't done it on the high bar for a long time and I thought I was going to fall, but thank God I didn't 🫠💪🏻). I came down from the bar with an angel exit and finished my presentation. When I got off, and to my great surprise, Tony had come up to congratulate me and asked me to take a picture together, without a doubt, it was an unforgettable moment for me.

Luego de eso la competencia continuó hasta la ronda final de los atletas que luchaban por quedar en el 1er lugar en el podio. La competencia terminó bastante bien y me dio la impresión de que todos estaban felices por su desempeño.
After that the competition continued until the final round of athletes fighting for 1st place on the podium. The competition ended quite well and I got the impression that everyone was happy with their performance.

Al terminar la competencia y conocer a los ganadores, una fila súper súper larga de chicos esperaban a Tony para tomarse una foto con el y también para que les firmara cositas como franelas, gorras, etc. a pesar de ya haberme tomado una foto con el a solas, aproveché la oportunidad de hacer la fila para que me firmara una franelilla de SWC que me había llevado y también para sacarme una foto grupal junto a Tony y algunos amigos.
When the competition was over and the winners were announced, a super long line of kids were waiting for Tony to take a picture with him and also to get his signature on their t-shirts, caps, etc. Even though I had already taken a picture with him alone, I took the opportunity to make the line so he could sign a SWC t-shirt that I had taken and also to take a group picture with Tony and some friends.

El evento fue increíble, y una vez más felicito de corazón al organizador principal, Manuel Ramos, por organizar este evento para los atletas y por hacer(nos)los felices con la presencia de un gran atleta como Tony. Sé que fue un logro para el y espero que todo marche súper bien en las próximas competencias que el tenga en mente hacer acá en el país. También las felicitaciones a la sra Marleny, la asesora técnica y a Joscar Mundo, por ser pilares fundamentales en la comunidad junto a Manuel. Hicieron un trabajo extraordinario nuevamente. 💪🏻🔥
The event was amazing, and once again I heartily congratulate the main organizer, Manuel Ramos, for organizing this event for the athletes and for making us happy with the presence of a great athlete like Tony. I know it was an achievement for him and I hope everything goes super well in the next competitions he has in mind to do here in the country. Also congratulations to Mrs. Marleny, the technical advisor and Joscar Mundo, for being fundamental pillars in the community with Manuel. They did an extraordinary job again. 💪🏻🔥
