Hoy les quiero compartir un post de mi proceso de un fan art que quise hacer, ya que he terminado de verme la segunda temporada de entrevista con el vampiro (serie) y estoy súper obsesionada con la belleza del señor Louis de Pointe du Lac, la verdad es que tuve mi fase de obsesión por los vampiros cuando tenía como doce y recuerdo haber visto la película, y mis papás me regalaron el libro de Armand ( 😅 sin saber bien de que se trataba) , pero la verdad nunca me animé a empezar la saga de libros , y cuando salió la serie , me tragué algunas críticas mala y la dejé allí, pero entonces mi mejor amiga y mi hermana ,me han metido presión para verla y Dios está buenísima!.**

**Hello community of artisans and craftspeople, how have you been? Today I want to share a post about my process of making a fan art project, since I finished watching the second season of Interview with the Vampire (series) and I'm super obsessed with the beauty of Mr. Louis de Pointe du Lac. The truth is, I had my vampire obsession phase when I was like twelve and I remember seeing the movie, and my parents gave me Armand's book (😅 without really knowing what it was about), but the truth is I never dared to start the book series, and when the series came out, I swallowed some bad reviews and left it there, but then my best friend and my sister pressured me to watch it and God it's hot! **
**So here's my attempt at making a fan art project of Louis, with his striped suit and red glasses ❤️ ✨ , the reference image is this:

**#1 Hice mi boceto en una block de dibujo, siendo un porta minas para que fuera más fácil trazar, con la referencia que escogí, Louis está con los lentes , y mirando hacia arriba, aún tengo muchos problemas con mi perspectiva y orientación😅 , para la pose pero trata que se viera un poco de perfil , hice las líneas del círculo para la cabeza, y de allí me guíen para el cuello, y trate de determinar la distribución de las cejas, que siempre es lo que me ayuda para distribuir los ojos y la nariz, esto fue lo que más me costó. Recalcule algunos trazos para los ojos , se supone que lleva lentes pero quería captar algo de sus ojos entrecerrados ,y arreglar un poco la nariz, luego le hice el pelo, que me parece que es una de las características que más hará que se parezca, marqué los rizos , y agregué el traje , tratando de seguir la referencia, y los lentes.**

**#1 I made my sketch on a drawing pad, being a lead pencil so it would be easier to trace, with the reference I chose, Louis is wearing glasses, and looking up, I still have a lot of problems with my perspective and orientation😅 , for the pose but try to make it look a bit in profile, I made the lines of the circle for the head, and from there guide me for the neck, and I tried to determine the distribution of the eyebrows, which is always what helps me to distribute the eyes and nose, this was what cost me the most. I recalculated some strokes for the eyes, he is supposed to wear glasses but I wanted to capture something of his squinty eyes, and fix the nose a bit, then I did his hair, which I think is one of the characteristics that will make him look the most alike, I marked the curls, and added the suit, trying to follow the reference, and the glasses.**

**#2 Para agregar color usé un marcador de tono naranja, y con rayones en diagonal, y para crear sombras usé es mismo marcador pasando varias veces, ,luego usé un tono de marrón claro para crear dimensión de las sombras, hice algunas sombras en su frente , ponte las cejas y las líneas de la nariz , y los pómulos, delinee toda la cara con un marcador marrón, y la sombra del cuello, también pinte el traje con marcador rojo. Con el marcador marrón pinte el cabello creando la textura de rizos, y algunos rastrojos de barbas ,y bigotes. También le agregué más sombra a los pomulos en naranja. Con marcador beige claro le di algunas sombras a la camisa, y con marcador rojo oscurecí los lentes.**

With the brown marker I painted the hair creating the texture of curls, and some stubble of beards, and mustaches. I also added more shadow to the cheekbones in orange. With a light beige marker I gave some shadows to the shirt, and with a red marker I darkened the glasses.**

**#3 Delinee con marcador marrón más oscuro, toda las líneas principales , y los ojos para que se vieran un poco a través de los vidrios de los lentes, luego, usé un marcador morado para hacer líneas en el traje, ya que tiene este estampado, con marcador negro oscurecí el cabello, y le hice rulos, también, y con bolígrafo de gel negro Delinee la nariz,las cejas y el vello facial. Oscurecí con rojo aún más los lentes , y hice algunos rayones con bolígrafo negro para todas las líneas del contorno y sombras en la camisa. Para hacer otros detallitos , usé el corrector, para la alineas del traje, y que se asemejara lo más posible al estampado. También le hice sombras a la corbata , y agregué unos detallitos de estampado.Tambien agregué unos brillitos a la cara de Louis, y a los lentes , y para el marco metálico, usé un marcador dorado. Para hacerlo más dinámico usé un marcador magenta para el fondo , y agregué unos brillitos con dorado, y destellos en blanco, para hacerlo más bonito.**

**#3 I outlined with a darker brown marker all the main lines and the eyes so they could be seen a little through the glasses, then I used a purple marker to make lines on the suit, since it has this print, with a black marker I darkened the hair, and made curlers, too, and with a black gel pen I outlined the nose, eyebrows and facial hair. I darkened the glasses even more with red, and made some scratches with a black pen for all the contour lines and shadows on the shirt. To make other details, I used the concealer, to line the suit, and to make it look as similar as possible to the print. I also made shadows to the tie, and added some print details. I also added some sparkles to Louis's face, and to the glasses, and for the metal frame, I used a gold marker. To make it more dynamic, I used a magenta marker for the background, and added some gold glitter and white sparkles to make it prettier.**

**Y listo este sería el resultado , me gustó como quedó , aún estoy tratando de encontrar la forma de hacer la piel con más realismo, pero me gustó el resultado por ahora, aunque no es sumamente parecido ( aún me cuesta mucho ) captar las características los suficientes como para hacerlo lo más parecido, aún así me parece que se entiende la idea , aúnque viendolo bien ,luego noté que me recuerda a Benito 😂 (Bad Bunny ) hmy bueno jajaja ni modo , creo que también lo tendré que hacer a él. En fin espero que les haya gustado, me encantó la serie y Louis es demasiado hermoso 😍.**
