Hello Foodie Lovers!!!How are you all doing,I hope we are all enjoying our weekends in your various destinations ,I welcome you all to my Blog
Today being Sunday,I decided to make this tasty soup instead of making Rice, because is weekend and it was almost night and I started craving for this cocoyam soup cooked with Bitterleaf. Then I went to the nearby Market and bought my ingredients Which after making it , turns out to be very delicious and Tasty.and I really enjoyed it so much,And I used it to make a post.
INGREDIENTS USED
Few pieces of cocoyam One plate of Bitterleaf One tablespoon of salt Three pieces of Fresh pepper Half liter of Red Oil One bulb of Onions Water
PROCEDURE
In this procedure,I will show you guys how I made this tasty Soup which I craved for and turns out to be my Favourite Soup.
Firstly I washed my native cocoyam throughly (Ede ofe) in our local dialect and then put it in my native pot and starts cooking it,I used my native pot to cook my cocoyam because it take a lot of time to be cooked.and after cooking for a while,my Cocoyam was soft and ready to pound.
Then I removed the back of my cocoyam and starts putting it one after the other inside my mortar and I added a little oil inside my cocoyam started pounding it untill it was properly pounded and I added that oil because it will help my cocoyam to dissolve very well when I put it in my cooking pot.and then added a little water for cooking.
After some minutes,my water boiled very well ,I added my Red oil and close my pot in other to allow it cook very well and then I added a little more water to my pot.
I added my pounded cocoyam, fresh pepper and salt and allow it to boil very well and also allow my cocoyam to dissolve very well.
Lastly I added my salt and Bitterleaf and after a while,my soup was Ready.
And I dished it out for myself which I loved and enjoyed so much.
Thanks for Reading to the End, I Appreciate you all, See You all in my Next Post.
