That is why am grateful for the blood of Jesus christ that He shared on the cross for the redemption of man. A christain has no total power to avoid sin or stop if the Holy Ghost does not dwell with the fellow, if Apostles Paul committed sin, if David a fellow after God's heart committed sin that's to tell you no one above sin or doing bad thing. **Romans 7:19-20 : For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.** Here Apostel Paul was telling us that when he says he will not do evil , he sees himself doing evil or bad then when he says he will do good he sees himself not doing good. It does not mean he is not a christain,just that he has the human body which shows that he is a human and is only with the help of Holy Ghost he can avoid that act. That is why Jesus Christ send us the comforter the Holy Ghost to help our weakness which sin happens to be one of them. **Acts 22:16 :And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.** For Aposte Paul to be do God's will , he first accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and saviour, why? He acknowledged Him as the only who can saved him out of such mess and His is the only one that have the total right to do so. Then he was baptised through baptism of water being immersed into water through which his sins will be washed away in the name of Lord which is the only name that can save .of he does not follow thus Steps he will continue on sins which is very bad. **Titus 3:5: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;** Apostle Paul was talking to Titus saying that his saved is not by his righteous acts or righteous things he did but by the mercy of God through baptism that is immersion of our body into water and the Holy Ghost who now dwells in us as our comfort and director so that we can serve him in truth and in spirit. In conclusion we need the Holy Ghost to help us to overcome sin and do His will at times. May God bless us as wee do His will Thanks for reading.
