Hello friends, I hope you are all well. I have a new artwork of mine. This is my brother's painting (@tahastories1) that I gave him as a birthday present. I couldn't give him this gift on his birthday because I was in the hostel then.
I started making this painting in the hostel but it wasn't finished, so when I came home, I tried to finish it as quickly as possible so that I could give it to him.
This is the picture I want to paint.
Materials ●Canvas ●Acrylic colours ●Painting brush ●Color palette ●Sketch pencil ●Eraser
So I took all my stuff here and sat in the space outside the hostel in front of the canteen because there's not enough space in my room to sit there and paint.
Since I don't have as much experience in painting as I do in sketching, I was afraid, but then I gathered my courage and started painting, thinking that if I did it, I would make it good, no matter how many days it took.
First I made the shirt and pants because they looked easy to make. Although everyone starts sketching with the face,🤭 but I do everything upside down.🤪
Then I made a face at him and at the same time I brought something from the canteen to eat.
And then it was quite dark, so I went to my room. I thought of painting the rest of this next Sunday, but then my exams started. Then I started painting the rest at home.
The sketch was complete, but now it was time to color it, so the first thing I thought of was coloring the face. Then I colored her face with skin acrylic color.
Then I thought his shirt would be gray.
Then I painted it with a light black color.
There's a box-like space where he's sitting that I painted green.
Then I added some sky and skin color to the background.
This is just one layer of it. There needs to be another layer of color on top of that.
Now I started putting a second layer on top of it and it looked something like this
This painting is starting to look a bit heavy now compared to the colors.
Then I added some details and made a face.
I added some details to his face. While I was making his face, my sister and dad were laughing jokingly that I had ruined the face and not made it right. At first I was a little angry, then I saw that I needed to make the face better, so I thought I would prepare the box area and then look at the face. Then I wrote Malam Jabba in the boxed area with white color.
Then I added a little touch of brown to his face, along with the skin and the color on top of the glasses, etc., so that they would be hidden. Then I added red to his lips and white to his eyes, as you can see.
Here I have made his face completely.
You can see the small details in his shoes.
When I showed him the painting of his portrait, he was very happy. I didn't paint it for him to see the happiness, and he liked it very much.
My painting may not have been perfect, but I tried my best to make it the best I could. It took me about six or seven days to make this painting.
Here I have made his face completely.I hope you all like it very much.
