One Year, One Sea, One Love: Our Anniversary Escape at Curbada by the Sea

## **Love is choosing the same person every day and making the most out of every moment together. 💕**  ---- Hello dear Hivers! It's me Marinel, (minelwanders20) back with another blog. Glad I'm back after how many days and months I'm out from the online platform. I just had so many things to do from work and some errands, but now I'm so excited to unpack everything that happened from last few months. For today's blog, I am sharing the amazing, incredible and unforgettable moments that happened on our 1st year Anniversary as a married couple. Excited to hear my story? Hehe, ‘cause I really am! ----  ---- Anniversaries are those days couples look forward to. And were one of those hehe. As our anniversary coming, we planned ahead on how we should celebrate it. We booked a beach resort to have an overnight stay. We searched online different resorts that falls our interest, and tadahhh GOTCHA! We found Curbada by the Sea, Lexmin Resort. Unfortunately our anniversaries falls on weekdays and we had work on that day, so we decided to take a half day. When I got home after my morning duty, my husband got me flowers. And it's very lovely. ----  ---- When we finally reached our destination which is the resort we booked, we didn’t want to waste a single moment. After checking and dropping off our things in the room, we headed out immediately to look around. And wow! What a lovely view! We came across a spot that was absolutely stunning, and the cool sea breeze instantly eased away the exhaustion from our two and a half hour trip. The place was so refreshing and beautiful that we both agreed. Booking our anniversary getaway at Curbada by the Sea was definitely the right choice. ----  ---- We can't resist to take a lot of pictures from the place. It is so amazing by how it was structured. We really don't have any regrets on booking this resort. As we enter earlier, we really feel the vibe. Like, yeah. This is it! This is what we are looking for. An amazing place to celebrate this memorable moment. I'm just so glad that I thoroughly checked this place online. ----  ---- And of course, my husband didn’t want to be left out. He also asked me to take his pictures! It’s rare for him to give compliments, but this time he didn’t miss a chance. He truly loved the place as much as I did, which made the experience even more special. We were just so amazed with everything. ----  ---- They also have a floating cottage where guests can hang out, and it was absolutely refreshing. You could really feel the coolness of the sea while staying there—it was so relaxing. By looking at the place, I am already excited for the evening cause I am planning to invite my husband here for a little chat and chill. I think it is the best spot for enjoying the cool breeze and splashes water from the ocean. ----  ---- After checking in and roaming around the resort, we decided to eat an early dinner because we were already hungry. Before coming here, we didn’t have a proper meal since we were rushing to get her cause we don't want to arrive late. We are just having a little snacks from the car while travelling. . That’s why our dinner at the resort felt extra filling and rewarding. My husband ordered grilled chicken and a bottle of Red Horse to enjoy with his food, while I chose humba, one of my all-time favorites. The taste was really good and satisfying. ----  ---- Honestly, the food here was incredibly delicious, and the servings were so generous—each portion was good for at least two people! No wonder this place is also popular as a restaurant. What makes it even better is that aside from dining, guests can enjoy the pool and even take a dip in the sea—triple purpose in one spot! They also serve plenty of beverages, cool drinks, and even ice cream. We skipped dessert for now since we were already too full, but maybe we’d save that for our midnight snack, hehe. ----  ---- That’s it for today’s blog!
