Social media, full of illusions and fake stuff. Whether you admit it or not, it's full of such fake names and fames. Everyone is addicted to it; the illusion is so deadly that many of us know about how fake things are, yet we are like a puppet falling into a trap and floating on and on. We take them as a source of entertainment, to be honest, they are so addictive and release so extreme dopamine that we are bound to get hooked.
So what triggered today's one?
Among tons of social influencers, there are a few that at least win our respect due to their ethics or so. There was one, not mentioning the name, but he came from the very root level of our villages. Most of them emerged from there, forget the roots, and change themselves in the colours of social trends. But he was colorless, as plain as his roots. Like everyone admires of his growth, like even after gaining so much name and fame, he is very down to earth, his appearances, talks, priorities, and everything.
But, not anymore, coincidentally, a few journalists came across his family. His parents complain that he doesn't look after them, but in the media, he is like, “My family is everything to me, nothing comes before them. If they are happy, I'm happy.” In reality, he cheated with us? Lol, looks like that. Another shocking thing is, he does have a wife and children, but he pretends he is unmarried. Maybe for the sake of his contents? But when they figured out and interviewed his wife and children and came to him, he refused, claiming them as his brother’s family. How lame! I know, his contents demand him to be single, unmarried, a love guy, but does that mean he will deny even if things get revealed? Then how did he prioritize his family? He is prioritizing his career.
Wait a minute, I have another one.
Another influencer she is very bold with her words. I do like her for a few aspects, like she is very bold, courageous, and a successful businesswoman. She had a bad past and then married to an old guy, many called her marrying a sugar daddy, but she was very hardworking and escalated her business by herself, which is what she deserves a round of applause. Everything is fine but when that old guy was alive, she used to throw very bold statements like she won't marry ever again after him, none could replace him, and many such things. I repeat, she was very bold with her words, would spare none if crossed her with enmity, so when she used to make those statements, people got touched and made her more influential.
But when that guy, within six months or so, she got married to another guy. Well, I have zero complaints about her getting married. Come on, she is young, has kids to raise, a business, kinda tough to manage in such a cruel world where she being a single mother will be a lust for many. So getting married is kinda good. All my problem is the statements that she made in the past, like they didn't even last for a year, not a year. So how true were those words? All were to gain public sentiment and nothing else.
So yeah, that's how social media is! Our social influencers. They can influence us as they want while staying behind the mask. If the true face gets revealed, we throw them away instantly and jump towards another trendy guy. That's how things are going on……
