I feel like a newbie... trying to get back to Hive after some time of absence is giving me this feeling. PeakD, the frontend I use added some new features and now everything seems new to me. Also, when I posted the very last time it was still warm, practically it was still summer at our place... today I am coming with some autumn weather, and not even from my town, which right now is two towns as we are in the middle of moving.
Still.
That's one of the main reasons I can't be online recently, but eventually things will settle down one day and hopefully I will manage to be back on Hive in a certain way...
Baby steps. Let's focus then on one thing - like on this autumn walk.
Place: Madrid, Spain.
Reason: Sorting out some paperwork.
Outcome: Wet feet in sneakers.
๐
Well, I was not prepared for this walk. No umbrella and suitable shoes but in the end, everything is perfect. I have a few free moments after I finished the thing I had to do in the Hungarian Embassy and a little walk happened around the place where I had my appointment. Cool small streets but as you see, the subway could be also used, if you prefer that option.
My next destination was a small park. Not in Berlin, as we are in Madrid, however it was named after that German city.
It is a quite normal park but there ARE some interesting things to spot. For example, we can see parts of the Berlin Wall in this park. They were brought here after if was demolished in 1989.
Another nice detail is this piano. Stones again.
A stoned piano? ๐
Sorry, it was Beethoven actually and the notes from the beginning of his fifth symphony.
I am not sure how this colourful cow appeared here, but it was cute. It closes this Wednesday Walk post, while I am sitting in a park (in a different one, close to the train station) waiting for my train.
Greetings from this old Hive newbie. ;)
