She recognised me immediately.
Although I wasn't the one who had the appointment with her two days ago — not even my husband had a regular appointment, but I took him to the healthcare centre almost as an emergency for something so we can stay calm — my GP took me into her room and explained the situation to me.
Well, there is not much to explain. There is that thing I went to her to get checked out a few months ago, I mentioned in some of my posts. It was spring. Since then, one step forward and one step back regarding general feeling, although the source of the issue has not shown changes at any point. Everything is pretty slow when you have to be called by other institutions to get an X-ray, for example... but thanks to the kindness of another woman who worked at the counter at the health facility for special examinations, my medical referral was expedited just because she was kind. I felt gratitude, and that same day bought that person a plant. 🌱 We managed to get the scans of my hip done last month in the hospital in the end. Which serve almost no purpose in my case, because she needs more examinations of the soft tissues to treat me in the right way.
To be honest, I don't know how she recognised me, I am just one patient among many, and a new one to her since last autumn... However, it seems that there are people who don't work just because it is their job. There are people who care, whose lives have a greater purpose - to help others. To be kind. To fight for you. And to request an MRI for you, because they care about your condition improving. My physiotherapists also cared; we did treatments that in the end didn't change the situation, so we gave up on it. Next steps? Waiting for the MRI and paint rocks. 😉
Kindness rocks can be given to show gratitude and respect to those who really don't spend their working hours just to be paid for it, right? As exactly kindness (and care) is what I felt while my GP talked to me, and that is why I am spending my afternoon today in this way:

Choosing a pebble, paint five or six layers of background colour (yellow, as it is a positive colour plus the other acrylics I had dried up 😂), drawing a leaf and the Gracias message. On the other side, green, blue and golden dots shine as a sun, with its kindness to a kind doctor. Yeah, I know it can seem like nonsense, but I hope she will like this little message once I take it to her.
