Hola,hola, hola gente querida y estimada de hive, espero que estén bien, les saludo y les doy la bienvenida a este espacio donde suelo compartir mis vivencias como mamá.
Este lunes iniciaron las clases aquí en Venezuela, a diferencia de años anteriores me propuse que me hijo asistiera desde el primer día ya que por diferentes circunstancias mi hijo siempre iniciaba una o dos semanas después y siento que eso le afectaba en su proceso de adaptación. Mi hijo es autista y por eso se le hace difícil entender muchas de las reglas que hay en el salón, aunque aquí en casa ponemos en práctica rutinas necesarias para que el entienda que hacer, lo cierto es que cuando está rodeado por tantos niños y muchos estímulos tiende a alborotarse más de lo normal.
Mi hijo está cursando el 3er nivel y quiero que esté lo más preparado posible para el primer grado, sabemos que es un cambio fuerte para la mayoría de los niños, así que me toca esforzarme el doble para que pueda asistir y cumplir con sus actividades.
Afortunadamente estos dos días de clase mi niño ha tenido una excelente actitud, alegre y risueño mientras vamos camino a la escuela y eso me hace sentir tranquila y feliz.
Siempre es un reto cada año, como madre de un niño autista a veces es difícil ver qué mi hijo aún no alcanza ciertas competencias para su nivel, pero he aprendido a ocuparme en vez de preocuparme y a practicar en casa esos aspectos que mi hijo aún no maneja y la verdad es que me deja sorprendida la manera en que el aprende cosas que pensé que el no lograría entender tan rápido.
La rutina vuelve a cambiar, es más agotador para mí porque debo hacer muchas cosas en tan poco tiempo, algunos proyectos quedan de lado por el momento, pero siempre consciente que la prioridad en mi vida es mi chiquito y estoy muy emocionada por ver su crecimiento en este nuevo año escolar.

This Monday, classes started here in Venezuela. Unlike previous years, I decided that my son would attend from the first day, since for various reasons he always started one or two weeks later, and I feel that this affected his adaptation process. My son is autistic, which makes it difficult for him to understand many of the rules in the classroom. Although we practice necessary routines at home so that he understands what to do, the truth is that when he is surrounded by so many children and so many stimuli, he tends to get more agitated than usual.
My son is in third grade, and I want him to be as prepared as possible for first grade. We know that it is a big change for most children, so I have to work twice as hard to make sure he can attend and keep up with his activities.
Fortunately, during these two days of school, my son has had an excellent attitude. He is cheerful and smiling on the way to school, and that makes me feel calm and happy.
It's always a challenge every year. As the mother of an autistic child, it's sometimes difficult to see that my son still hasn't reached certain milestones for his age, but I've learned to take action instead of worrying and to practice at home the things that my son still struggles with. The truth is that I'm amazed at how he learns things that I thought he wouldn't be able to understand so quickly.
The routine changes again, and it's more exhausting for me because I have to do so many things in such a short time. Some projects are put aside for the moment, but I'm always aware that my little boy is my priority in life, and I'm very excited to see his growth in this new school year.
