## Expo Simón Bolívar El pasado jueves tuve la oportunidad de ir con los niños a la exposición que había en el Centro de Convenciones de La Carlota, en Caracas, Venezuela; salí gratamente impresionada por toda la producción y organización del evento. Mi única queja, la multitud de visitantes, la exposición inició el mes de julio y terminaba el 30 de agosto, no sé si siempre hubo la misma afluencia o si por ir los últimos días el lugar estaba rebasado de gente. Esto hizo que el recorrido lo hiciéramos en casi 4 horas. La exposición era gigantesca y en las distintas salas narraban toda la historia de nuestro Libertador Simón Bolívar, desde su nacimiento hasta la Batalla de Ayacucho, así como destacan la participación de los diferentes próceres de la Independencia.   Hicieron uso de recursos tecnológicos en casi todas las salas, y en muchas de ellas habían lentes de realidad virtual o hacían alguna simulación del contexto para adentrar a la audiencia en la experiencia que estaban compartiendo, como en el caso de la navegación en el barco del Leander. También había un gran despliegue de actores que hacían las representaciones de las diferentes etapas de la vida de Simón y las batallas que libró; pude retratarme con uno de los tantos actores que representó al Libertador. Había un área de colchones inflables y atracciones para los niños, además de la experiencia 3D que ofrecían también en una sala para pintar y realizar otras interacciones. Para los niños fue una experiencia divertida, creo además que es una manera fabulosa de mantener viva la memoria del Libertador y transmitir su mensaje y legado. Hasta pronto y Buenas Vibras!!! ***  ## Simon Bolivar Exhibition Last Thursday, I had the opportunity to take the children to the exhibition at the La Carlota Convention Center in Caracas, Venezuela. I was pleasantly impressed by the production and organization of the event. My only complaint was the large number of visitors. The exhibition began in July and ended on August 30. I don't know if there were always so many people or if it was because we went on the last few days that the place was overflowing with people. This meant that the tour took us almost four hours. The exhibition was huge, and the different rooms told the entire story of our Liberator Simón Bolívar, from his birth to the Battle of Ayacucho, as well as highlighting the participation of the different heroes of Independence.   They made use of technological resources in almost all the rooms, and in many of them there were virtual reality glasses or simulations of the context to immerse the audience in the experience they were sharing, as in the case of sailing on the ship Leander. There was also a large cast of actors who performed the different stages of Simón's life and the battles he fought; I was able to have my picture taken with one of the many actors who played the Liberator. There was an area with inflatable mattresses and attractions for children, as well as a 3D experience offered in a room for painting and other interactions. It was a fun experience for the children, and I also think it's a wonderful way to keep the memory of the Liberator alive and pass on his message and legacy.
