## Waterland -Mundo Marino- Bendecido presente!! Continuando con mi bitácora de viaje en la Isla de Margarita (Venezuela), quiero compartirles una linda experiencia que vivimos en Waterland Mundo Marino, situado en la ciudad deportiva de Pampatar. Compramos las entradas para disfrutar de una tarde diferente y también para huir del sol en la playa, porque con tan solo un par de días en la Isla ya estabamos insolados 😅 de tanta exposición solar. La actividad en el parque los fines de semana se llama "Festival Mágico" e incluye 3 actividades: Planeta Animal, Show Mágico y Show de Delfines y tiene una duración de 3 horas. Entramos al parque y pudimos disfrutar de la fauna que tienen, habían guacamayas, garzas, pelícanos, loros y tortugas entre lo que pudimos apreciar. Todas ellas fueron presentadas en la exposición de Planeta Animal, en la que nos compartieron información sobre cada especie y la importancia del cuidado del medio ambiente. Seguido de la exhibición hubo un acto de malabarismo y magia muy simpático. El mago era muy ocurrente produciendo situaciones jocosas para hacer reír a la audiencia. Para cerrar disfrutamos del espectáculo de los delfines, ya nos los habían presentado al llegar al lugar, pero el acto lo dejaron guardado para el final de la actividad. Fue realmente hermoso y divertido verlos. En general las instalaciones se conservan bien, sin embargo hay áreas que se pueden mejorar en infraestructura. A pesar de ello, me pareció una excelente opción para pasar una tarde de domingo y hacer algo diferente, los niños lo disfrutaron mucho y ciertamente es un atractivo turístico dentro de la Isla de Margarita que además de atraer a personas de diferentes edades y nacionalidades, produce una fuente de trabajo importante para los locales. Continuing with my travel log on Margarita Island (Venezuela), I want to share with you a wonderful experience we had at Waterland Mundo Marino, located in the sports city of Pampatar. We bought tickets to enjoy a different kind of afternoon and also to escape the sun on the beach, because after just a couple of days on the island we were already sunburned from so much sun exposure. The weekend activity at the park is called “Festival Mágico” (Magic Festival) and includes three activities: Animal Planet, Magic Show, and Dolphin Show, lasting three hours. We entered the park and enjoyed the wildlife, including macaws, herons, pelicans, parrots, and turtles. All of them were presented in the Animal Planet exhibition, where we learned about each species and the importance of caring for the environment. Following the exhibition, there was a very entertaining juggling and magic show. The magician was very witty, creating humorous situations to make the audience laugh. To finish, we enjoyed the dolphin show. We had already been introduced to the dolphins when we arrived, but the show was saved for the end of the activity. It was really beautiful and fun to watch them. In general, the facilities are well maintained, although there are areas where the infrastructure could be improved. Despite this, I thought it was an excellent option for spending a Sunday afternoon doing something different. The children really enjoyed it, and it is certainly a tourist attraction on Margarita Island that not only attracts people of different ages and nationalities, but also provides an important source of employment for locals.
