Hola hola un placer saludar a todos los hivers especialmente a los que formamos parte de esta bella comunidad motherhood. Así es mi cuarto embarazo, un embarazo en el que desconocía de su existencia hasta que cumplí las 14 semanas, cuando algo fuera de lo común pasó, que me hizo timbrarme la campana de alerta y salir corriendo al médico…

Ustedes se preguntarán, cómo es posible que no me diera cuenta de que estaba embarazada hasta entonces, tratando de ser un poco breve les cuento, 14 semanas atrás fui a la consulta de control con mi ginecologa de confianza, para ese entonces estaba lactando a mi bebe de 9 meses de edad, en la consulta médica la doctora me realiza un eco del cual todo se vio bastante bien gracias a Dios.
>You may wonder, how is it possible that I did not realize I was pregnant until then, trying to be a little brief I tell you, 14 weeks ago I went to the control consultation with my trusted gynecologist, by then I was breastfeeding my 9 month old baby, in the medical consultation the doctor made me an echo of which everything looked pretty good thank God.

Salimos de consulta de la cual debía volver al mes para retirar el resultado de la citología, el dia que retiró el examen le manifiesto a la doctora que no me a bajado la menstruación, ella me pregunta si e sentido algo fuera de lo común y le manifiesto que sólo un ligero malestar de estómago que se lo achacaba a algo que me había comido y seguramente me cayó mal y en vista de que en el eco no se observó nada, asumió que podía ser que me subieron los niveles de prolactina muy altos y eso pudiera ser el causante de la ausencia menstrual.
>We left the consultation from which I had to return a month later to get the results of the cytology, the day she withdrew the test I told the doctor that I had not had my menstruation, she asked me if I felt anything unusual and I told her that I only felt a slight upset stomach that I attributed to something I had eaten and surely I was sick and since nothing was observed in the echo, she assumed that it could be that my prolactin levels were very high and that could be the cause of the absence of menstruation.

Soy madre de dos hermosas princesas, trabajo desde casa y había tenido un día bastante agitado, entre el trabajo, atender a las niñas y las labores del hogar, ya cuando llegó la hora de dormir no aguantaba un dolor del nervio ciático, no podía dar ni un paso más.

Esa noche al ir al baño vi que el líquido que pensé que era orina, era abundante y ligeramente rojo creí por un momento que podía ser la menstruación que había llegado, pero no fue así. En el hospital donde carecían de implementos para atenderme, solo me adbirtieron que lo mas probable era que presentaba un embarazo de 14 semanas y tenia una amenaza de aborto.

Fue un fin de semana bastante complejo, así que manteniéndome en cama de reposo absoluto y llenándome de mucha y mucha paciencia tuvimos que esperar hasta el día lunes para asistir a la consulta con la obstetra, me chequeo y vimos a mi hermoso bebé, bien y estable.
>It was quite a complex weekend, so keeping me on bed rest and filling me with lots and lots of patience we had to wait until Monday to attend the consultation with the obstetrician, she checked me and we saw my beautiful baby, well and stable..

La doctora se percata de un hematoma interno que estaba justo al lado de la placenta y seguramente ese era el causante del sangrado, me dijo todos los riesgos que se estaban corriendo y todo lo que podía acarrear si continuaba el hematoma y el sangrado.
The doctor noticed an internal hematoma that was right next to the placenta and surely that was the cause of the bleeding, she told me all the risks that were being taken and everything that could happen if the hematoma and bleeding continued.

Realmente me alertó muchísimo y salí muy pero muy angustiada de la consulta, me indico reposo absoluto en cama y el tratamiento pertinente, también nos recomendó realizar un eco especial con un colega a las 18 semanas.
>He really alerted me a lot and I left the consultation very, very distressed, he indicated absolute bed rest and the pertinent treatment, he also recommended a special echo with a colleague at 18 weeks.

Todo se nos junto, al yo estar de reposo mi esposo redujo las horas de trabajo para poder ayudarme atender a las niñas y a mi, obviamente también tuve que dejar de trabajar, teníamos que comprar los medicamentos, ir a los controles médicos ya eran muchos los gastos… y sas! de repente mi hija mayor se enferma, luego la menor y ya recuperadas, nos enfermamos mi esposo y yo.
>Everything came together, when I was on bed rest my husband reduced his working hours to be able to help me take care of the girls and myself, obviously I also had to stop working, we had to buy medicines, go to medical check-ups and there were many expenses... and sas! suddenly my oldest daughter got sick, then the youngest and once they recovered, my husband and I got sick.

Fueron días de mucho estrés y mi pensamiento siempre puesto en Dios él nunca abandona a sus hijo, eso pasara y todo iba a estar bien, así fue, mejoramos, estamos mucho más tranquilos, tomando fuerzas para cubrir los gastos.
>They were days of great stress and my thoughts were always focused on God, who never abandons his children, that this would pass and everything would be fine.

Pasaron los días y fuimos a realizar el eco especial que me indico la doctora, y al realizarnos el eco vimos que el hematoma no estaba, se reabsorbio, gracias al reposo y el cumplimiento del tratamiento indicado, agradecida con Dios primeramente porque indudablemente es una bendición.
>The days passed and we went to perform the special echo that the doctor indicated, and when the echo was performed we saw that the hematoma was not there, it was reabsorbed, thanks to the rest and compliance with the indicated treatment, grateful to God first because undoubtedly it is a blessing.

Tengo que mantenerme en reposo ya que se dice que la formación del hematoma pudo ser por lo reciente del embarazo anterior y por hacer pesos como el cargar a mi hija menor por ejemplo, también estaba tomando mucha agua de jamaica lo que no es recomendable en el embarazo.
>I have to keep resting since it is said that the hematoma formation could be due to the recentness of the previous pregnancy and for doing weights such as carrying my youngest daughter for example, I was also drinking a lot of hibiscus water which is not recommended in pregnancy.

Tengo que seguir en constante chequeo médico, continuo trabajando desde casa, con mucha ayuda de mi familia y con la ayuda de Dios ya con 21 semanas de embarazo actualmente, manteniéndome positiva. optimista y como toda mamá entusiasta por la pronta llegada del nuevo miembro de la familia.
I have to continue with constant medical check-ups, I continue to work from home, with a lot of help from my family and with God's help, I am now 21 weeks pregnant, staying positive, optimistic and like all moms, enthusiastic for the soon arrival of the new member of the family.

Indudablemente son esos momentos en donde nos quebrantamos de salud cuando más valoramos el estar y sentirnos bien, como siempre espero que este post sea de mucha ayuda y provechoso para todos y tomen lo mejor de él.
