After reading something about how our year actually SHOULD be, rather than the way it is now (as in, it should be 13 months, not 12) I was a bit hesitant to even make a Happy New Year's post.
But then I thought, I'd really have to look more into it, and since most people do adhere to the 12 month thing...Here it goes!

# My New Year off to a Clean Start
I got sick early morning on the 31st...So I was in bed most of the day. My son called me at 11pm because he didn't want me to miss the countdown, and I truly thought it was already the next day haha. Anyway, I went downstairs, sat with my two sons (as my daughter and her friend were meeting friends and staying elsewhere...they grow up!). I made it to 12.30 and had to get back to bed.
So that was my New Year's eve! Yesterday I was still a bit weak from it all but feeling much better. I knew that it was the mandatory cleanse I needed desperately. So even though it's never fun, it's a full-on reset and I always welcome it rather than resist.
So starting the New Year clean!
