It's been a while since I've written anything for this series. It's not for the lack of ideas.
There was a time, not so long ago (about 3 years), where my manifestations didn't seem to do much, where I lost a lot, was down and out, literally scraping by. I lost a little bit of faith and it took me quite a bit to drag myself back out of the deep hole I had found myself in.
After that, it didn't feel quite as authentic to write about manifesting, when I didn't ***feel*** it as much as I had before. I would have felt like a charlatan. Aside from that, I also feel that I need to be in a certain mood to do these things. Or it just won't sound right, if you know what I mean. In the same way that I can sell anything to anyone, as long as I ***believe*** in the product. If I don't believe in it, there's no way I can sell it.
But anyway, I'm back in the manifestation mood. Mostly because of two things that happened to show me it's still all good...

# The Signs to Show that You're on the Right Track
Well, I can't exactly tell you what the signs are. I can give examples though.
We've all been there: you think of someone you haven't seen in a while, and almost instantly, you meet them on the streets or they call or text you. Or at least, within a short time-frame.
It might sound too simple, but you've manifested this. And probably they did too.
It's not a coincidence, because if you think back, you can probably think of many instances when it happened just like that.
Or maybe you have an event coming up and you're thinking of buying a new dress, and you have the perfect picture already in your mind. The next day you're in the mall, and you see the perfect dress in a shop window, as if they put it there just for you.
Sure, these are mini examples, and one could definitely think it's all coincidence, but I am telling you, they're not. The reason why this all so effortlessly pops up (the friend, the dress) when you just thought of it, is because it was just that: effortless. You thought of the friend or the dress, and then let it go. You didn't start thinking about that friend all day, did you?
Nope. You let it go and the universe gives it to you.
Because if you wouldn't have let it go, the manifestation would possibly still happen, but it'd take longer.
Trust me, I've been there and done that. And I still do. If there's something urgent that needs to happen in my life, like right now (more about that later), I tend to hold on for too long, think about it too much, and it's almost like it's the universe thinking "Are you done?" because it will just take longer that way.
The quote: ***Where attention goes, energy flows*** is a very good one, because it's not exactly the right quote for it. It's more like this: You are wishing for something to happen, but you bite into it too much and won't let it go. In the back of your mind, you have unspoken fears that tell you that it won't happen. So your wishes fly around willy nilly, basically telling the universe: I want this, but I'm not sure if I will get it. So since this wish is scrambled rather than clear, if might take a while before it actually comes into your life...

# Examples that Showed Me I was on the Right Track
OK, so my son was meeting some friends at the mall to see a movie, and he needed money.
I didn't have any cash to give him so I gave him my wallet with the bank card, so he could just take money out at the ATM machine.
When he came back, he handed me back my wallet and it was quite heavy. He told me that one shop gave him a lot of coins, so that's why it was so heavy.
I said: "Ok, it's nice to have a heavy wallet, but next time, I'd like it to be heavy with 1000 peso notes." Those were the magic words. I didn't hold on to it, because of course I didn't go thinking all day: "I need my wallet to be heavy with 1000 peso notes." 1000 pesos is around US$ 50 by the way. The next day, we had to go to the mall for something and I had to get money out from the ATM again...
#### The machine popped out 3 x 1000 peso notes...
You'd think that's nothing special. But to me it was, because until then, for the (nearly) 4 years we've lived in Mexico, I had never held a 1000 peso note. Not once. I showed them to my son, and we both laughed. I truly believe it was a little sign from the universe to tell me that "I still got it".

# The Little Capybara
So only a week or so later, I was showing my son something online about baby animals.
This little baby capybara popped up on the screen. So I said: "I want one. If I can't have a baby racoon, or a wombat, then I want a baby capybara!"
Now, there's a little background story here...We have lots and lots of racoons here. Sometimes their moms have accidents. So they get orphaned. I've heard of several people who fostered one and I happen to love racoons...But never been so lucky. Probably a good thing, because it means their mommy is still alive...
The wombat...well, they're Australian, so no chance to find one of those.
The capybarra? Cute and all, and I wouldn't pass it by if I found a lost baby. But as a pet...nah. Too much rodent if you ask me. Nevertheless, they're cute.
Anyway...that SAME day I am at the mall, again. I had to go there to pay my son's tutor. So we had a little chat and both were on our way. When I walk out the back to get to the taxi stand, I look down at the ground and see this guy:
Now, call me a dreamer or a nutcase, but if this isn't another sign from the universe telling me that I'm on the right track, then I don't know what is...
Now I just need to find that track...🤣
Either way, I believe. Whatever it is, it's working.
#### So since all this happened at the mall, maybe now I should say something bigger..
#### Like my flight to Hivefest Malaysia is booked and I didn't do it. One can always try...
