Good day hivers!
Its friday and happy to share to you my market day.As a wife and a mother ,market day is one of my favorite day were I can buy the things we needed especially for kids.
And here's my #marketfriday entry which is inniated by miss @dswigle.
My market day!
Last friday I already bought our two weeks groceries and other things needed ,the essentials as well but today we are running out of some species because we are having a celebrations last wednesday and I able to used some of it which I bought from my last market day.
In this market day I had ,I decided to buy something we need from a small vendors ,I choose to do this to support them because I've been in that situation wayback when I was a kid.We also selling some vegetables in the market every market day or we called it "tabo" in our dialect. It is my mother's way to sustain our needs and to help my father for our daily needs. We sell vegetables ,coconut fruits ,charcoal ,river snail and etc.
Like the old woman in the picture I paste below ,we are selling like this since we don't have a stands,we only place our vegetables in the sack.Actually everytime I saw someone selling this way ,it made me to remember my sad experienced ,well I can called it bad because of some people who only think their own ,a selffish one.
The story goes like this ,I and my mom was selling in the market like what the old woman in the picture I captured ,then beside us was a fruit stall ,and my mom was shocked when the owner of that fruits stands told us to go away and removed the vegetables we put down with the sacks ,she said we are a only a distraction in her space and she's not approaching us nicely .My mom was keeping the vegetables we are selling and looking some areas to put down the vegetables and continue selling, I saw from my mom's eye that she felt bad about it.But its already past ,I just sharing it you.I don't want to cry now hihi.
So back to my market day ,I saw the old woman selling some species and she was so happy when I was near with her and asking the prices of it.I know that feelings of someone is buying what you sell ,it can really makes us happy. The old woman was hurriedly and looks so happy when she pack the species I pointed.
Then I asked my husband to take some photos of me while buying ,but looks what he captured haha.He does'nt know how to take a photos ,well I must bear with it😁
When I was done with the species ,I decided to buy a slippers in a footwear store in the same area where I bought some species.Though the prices of it in the department store is more cheaper than here, but its my way of supporting them.I know they only have a few sales compare to some department stores here.
I bought that brown slippers that cost $2
In the next stand was for the toasted bread ,we called it "sopas".Its my favorite bread when I was a kid and till now ,coz it can't be easily spoil.
Each pack cost $0.20 I bought 3 packs of it.
And this is the species I bought that only cost $1 ,but if youre going to buy it inside the market ,this could be reach for $2.
And thats it for my market friday ,I able to spend $4 for this day .I able to save from the species we needed plus I able to help and support this small vendors.
Thank you for droppi
