On my last trip to the beach, I had a wonderful day. I felt like a fish in water. I think I had more fun than my children. With beautiful sunshine, clear skies, and a desire to go for a swim, although that's normal because the beach is my favorite vacation destination, this place was absolutely worth it.
During Holy Week, we have a family tradition of taking a special trip, especially to enjoy the sandy beach, as we popularly call it. Whenever we can, we find a destination among the different beaches in Anzoátegui state or its surroundings and spend time in different settings that, besides being beautiful, help renew our spirits.
For this occasion, we went to Playa Conoma. The trip was quite an adventure, as it's located at the foot of the mountain, so the streets were steep and we had to be alert. It was also exciting because we could see the beach from the top.
When we arrived at the beach, we organized everything. The kids then jumped into the water without wasting any time, and I joined them. We just went out to get something to eat and drink water. I thoroughly enjoyed that day.
The place was incredibly beautiful. We could see the boats arriving from other places, as this beach belongs to Mochima National Park, which connects several beaches in different states. A natural gem that we can enjoy every time we have the opportunity to visit.
We played volleyball, swam, and, as always, looked for shells on the beach to take home as souvenirs.
