🌠The writings on the wall Spelt the scars of the piercing and cuts that they left They twisted the truth like a DNA strand and gave you a different gene of personality You were crowned with thorns of lies that caused you to bleed And showed you to the world dressed in tattered clothes You were offered gold and diamonds to lead you down the path of "You will never know the truth"
🌠The game was on for a long time They seem to be winning every day and getting better Yet like an eagle you soared high over them and saw their deeds Like an owl at night, you watched their moves as they danced to their foolishness and ignorance If only they knew that the beat would not last for long The sun can never keep a secret for too long
🌠You played your role as the faithful one You endured the pain, doubts and jealousy You wished he was different from the others Delicious suppers was served every night And every night happened under the glistening of the stars It was time to reveal to him your own truth
🌠You encroached slowly and swept him off his feet Startled at the truth and findings his ears heard His tear glands knew also that his actions meant no harm He never knew the crown carried thorns of lies He did truly dress you in tattered clothes he thought were made from the craftiness of hands. He showed you to the world because its Only You
True love has no room for hate and conquers all
🌠His affections and actions were true to him His heart bled at the knowing of the scars he had left His tears said the truth that his lips could not communicate Weakened his legs became, he couldn't dance to the beat anymore He couldn't lose you now A true and pure heart always forgives
