This week, I am excited to talk about one of the most beloved frontends on Hive Ecency. Many of us know it as the “blue app,” and truly, it has lived up to its reputation. For me, Ecency has been more than just a frontend, it has been a tool that made my Hive journey easier and more rewarding.
I have been using Ecency for quite a while now, and what caught my attention from the start was its simplicity and flexibility. Whether I am creating long-form posts, dropping short comments, or even engaging in quick updates, Ecency makes it smooth. The addition of Ecency Points as extra incentives has also been one of the best features, giving users like me more reason to stay active.
When it comes to preference, I use both the web app and the mobile app, but the mobile app speaks to me more because of its convenience. It allows me to stay connected on the go, interact with communities, and even track my rewards in real time. However, I do think some web features, such as deeper analytics and easier navigation across communities, could make the mobile app even better. Community-wise, the Ecency family has always been welcoming. There’s a spirit of support, encouragement, and shared growth. Special shout out to @good-karma and the Ecency team for their tireless efforts in making sure the platform keeps evolving and giving us tools to thrive. I also appreciate community builders like @melinda010100 who constantly encourage engagement and bring people together under Ecency challenges. Ecency is not just an app, it’s a movement within Hive that continues to inspire creativity, curation, and collaboration.
