My name is Shedrach Maikeffi.
The name Shedrach is a biblical name which is associated with the three jews youth who survived the fiery furnace in the book of Daniel. The name originates from the ancient Akkadian language, spoken in Babylon. From biblical standpoint, Shedrach was the babylonian name given to Hananiah during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon and it means "Yaweh has been gracious " or God is gracious🙌 wow! What a name! I'm so proud of my name💪
My surname name "Maikeffi" is an Hausa name that is commonly used within the middle belt of Nigeria and the northern part of Nigeria. The name literally means "the owner of Keffi". Keffi is a name of a town in Nasarawa State Nigeria and it's very important to note that "Maikeffi" is my grandfather's name but it's generally used as our family name and again, he does not own Keffi as the name literally implied, it's just a name that was given to him due to his doggedness as a young man and as a young farmer. I will gladly like to also let you know that i was brought up by a single mom who tried her best to make sure I was never stranded. My mom is one strong woman I'm super proud of, she mean this world to me💕 I've seen her farmed and worked in a fueling station just to put a smile on my face, I've seen her labor so hard to make sure that I don't lack my basic needs, I've seen her praying for me to successfully succeed. What a strong woman!💪 i must give the applause she deserve👏. She said she named me Shedrach because God has been gracious to her. I'm the first and only child of my mother.
That's a glimpse into the story behind my name. On a relatives notes, I'm from Nigeria, Nasarawa State. I am Eggon by tribe, the largest ethnic groups in Nasarawa state in terms of population. Although many people find it so difficult to believe that I'm Eggon due to the fact that I hardly speak my language🙈 we are indigens of Nassarawa Eggon Local Governmen Area. I was born and brought up in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa state where my mother resided before she later moved to Keffi. Currentl, I'm residing in Angwan Central district of Akwanga, where I've been enjoying life and the locals have been warm and welcoming 💚
I have reached the ripe age of 27 and is just looking like life begins at 27. I was born on the 2nd January in the year 1998. All through these years, I've learned to face challenges, maintain peace in the midst of chaose, be intentional about achieving my goals and be responsible for the outcome of my actions. As I'm hopefully waiting to celebrate my 28 birthday in the next few months, I'm looking forward to learning more on this platform.
Education background I attended Central Pilot Primary School Akwanga from the year 2002 to 2008 where I obtained my First leaving school certificate and after that I went straight to Jss 1 in Government Secondary School Akwanga Central where I obtained my Basic School Certificate( BECE) then, I went to Government Secondary School Akwanga and there, I obtained my senior school certificate (SSCE). After all this accomplishment, I applied for Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna but, unfortunately I didn't get the admission. Although l kept trying over the years but my quest for becoming a military personal was cut short 😭. Nevertheless, I didn't give up on furthering my education and as God would have it, I later got admission in to one of the best universities in the country (Bayero University Kano) in the year 2019 to study Bsc in geography. Today I'm a graduate and I'm proud of myself, I'm also greatful to God who saw me through the thin and thick seasons in school. During my study at the university, i was privileged to serve as an assistant secretary in my fellowship for two years where I met different people from all corners of the country. I had friends from different tribes and region, each with their unique way of life and experiences. One of my closest friends Emmanuel is from the Yoruba tribe in the southwest, while Richmond is from Benue State. We always spend time together to study our books, we shared laugh and supported one another in divers ways. This relationship tought me how to embrace unity in diversity and it exposed me to the cultural heritage of some tribes.
Knowing about Hive For a long time I've been seeing some post about Hive blockchaing from some of my friends on Facebook but, I never knew how beneficiary and impactful Hive Blockchain could be until it was clearly explained to me by my friend Wisdom. I'm really glad that I finally got to know about Hive and I can't wait to explore the Hive Blockchain. I was very excited and filled with joy when i discover that I can build a long lasting relationship within the Hive blockchain, but I was more excited 😊 when I heard that the Hive Blockchain can greatly contribute to my personal growth and development and can help in shaping my skills and talents. I can't wait to meet with great like minded people who are making the Hive Blockchain interesting and impactful.
Coaching and Mentorship My heart is full of greatitude for the Guidance and the training I received personally from an exceptional leader @Ovey10, who investment his precious time to mentored me online and on sight. He used different platforms to make sure I get to know more about Hive. I do not take his amazing way of mentorship for granted. I pray that God will bless him beyond his expectations.
