Hello my amazing people! Welcome to hive open-mic week 282. Today I will singing a cover of a song by Cory Asbury titled "Reckless love". The song ( Reckless love ) is one of the few songs that clearly show us what Jesus did at the cross of calvary. Sometimes I wonder how the writer of this song was able to get the revelation behind this song. Like, what was in the mind of God when he gave Jesus as a remission for our sins. We were living in sin without hope, but God out of his infinite mercy decided to chase after us and pay that price required to save us. As humans in most cases, we release our love only when we believe that it will reciprocated but God showed us his kind of love which is careless and reckless unapologetic. I come to realize that when God gave the life of his son Jesus Christ to redeem man back to himself, he didn't ask for anyone's permission because he needed not. In my personal life I've seen how God chase after me as thought I was the only human of the surface of the earth. Once upon a time my life was not inline with God's purpose and plan for me, but through the revelation of God's reckless, love I found my my place destiny. God does not love the way we do, intact God's love knows no boundary. Have you ever ask yourself this question "why is God called love? " God is love because he knows that humans are not perfect and he knows that without his love we will definitely perish due to the nature of our flesh. The bible clearly states that, "But God demonstrates his own love for us: while we we're still sinners Christ, Christ died for us. This verse highlight how deep God's love is for me and you. Although we were still sinners but God didn't care about that, he was reckless and careless about all our sins and shortcomings, all he was concern about was to pour his love on us. The revelation from thus song is that God's love for you are I is not based on our worthiness or righteousness, Jesus Christ demonstrated the ultimate act of love by dying for us while we were still sinner, God showed his tangible love which is beyond emotional feeling through the death of Jesus Christ, God's love is available to everyone regardless of their background and circumstances and not limited to a selected few individuals. Beloveth, I don't know how dark your world is now, as you listen to his song I want you to know that God can go to any extend just make sure you safe. If he couldn't withhold Jesus from dying for. You then there is not limit to what he can do to save you. I want you to believe that God truly loves you and he can do anything to keep you safe. Remind yourself that you are the apple of his eyes. Remain blessed and in the reckless love of God.
