The Calgary Comic Expo is one of the top 10 largest in North America and its only getting bigger with a newly expanded and massively renovated BMO Center just opening up this year. The amount of floor space available was quite astounding and its filled by so many amazing exhibitors. It can be easy to get overwhelmed to the point where you have seen so many booths that they become a bit of a blur. So this year I decided to take some more time in getting some photos of several booths so that I can look back months later and take it all in again.
From custom lightsabers to engraved woodwork and hard to find movie posters. Comics and cosplay, hundreds of vendors selling all the geek wares and pop culture you can think of. The shopping experience alone is worth it if your looking for something unique and different. I think next year's show and the many more to come will be even bigger and better as they adapt to all this new space and I really look forward to many more rounds here.
