The Calgary Zoo is home to many different species of penguins, all under the same roof. The penguin plunge is dedicated to giving them a space where they can coexist, swim, play, and hang out on rocky shores together. Sometimes they will even take them outside for a walk if the weather and conditions are right. They can be loud and boisterous, which creates a fun atmosphere to observe, and as they reside in the Arctic, the indoors gets a bit chilly, so it's a great way to beat the heat on a hot summer's day, checking out my many friends among the birds.
