Hello, everyone! ✌🏼✌🏼 It's been a while since I've shared anything with you, so today I'm back after several days of joining the August art challenge, which has an alien theme that I really like and think is pretty cool.
For this challenge, I've prepared a pixel art portrait of a green alien.
The canvas used was a base size of 43x60 pixels.
Here is my sketch, made in pixels of course, black pixels and represented by the clear figure of an alien 👽
It's a simple alien, without too many details, but I really like the result.

¡Hola a todos! ✌🏼✌🏼 Hacía un buen rato que no compartía nada con ustedes, asi que hoy regreso después de varios dias uniendome al reto de arte de agosto, el cual tiene una temática alienígena que me gusta mucho y a mí parecer está bastante genial.
Para este reto he preparado un Pixel Art de el retrato de un alien verde.
El lienzo usado fué de una tamaño base de 43x60 pixeles.
Acá les presento mi boceto, hecho en pixeles por supuesto, pixeles de color negro y representado por la clara figura de un alien 👽
Es un alien sencillo, sin tantos detalles, pero realmente me ha gustado mucho el resultado.

For the coloring, I used typical green tones, although at first I thought about using gray tones. However, I opted for greenish tones for the skin and some brown for the eyes.
I applied the base color and from there I started with the shading and lighting, which allowed me to define the alien's physical features.
Para el coloreado usé los típicos tonos verdes, aunque al principio pensé en usar tonos grises, sin embargo opté por tonos verdosos para la piel y algo de marrón para sus ojos.
Apliqué la base de color y desde ahí partí con el sombreado y la iluminación, con lo cual logré definir los rasgos físicos del alien.

For the background, I chose to use reddish brown tones. I made some squares with these tones and surrounded the alien figure with lighter tones, giving a slight light effect.
Para el fondo opté por usar tonos marrones rojizos, hice algunos cuadros con estos tonos y rodee la figura del alien con tonos más claros, dando un leve efecto de luz.
