If you're in Klaten and suddenly craving a burger, there's one place you absolutely have to try, it's called Legenda Burger. The location might be a bit tucked away in a village, specifically on Jl. Pemuda , Ngepos, Klaten, Central Java. But don’t be mistaken, even though the place is simple, the taste of the burger is what makes people willing to come from afar. I first learned about this place from a friend's recommendation who said, "this burger is really good, different from the others." And after trying it, I agree 100%!
The first time I went there, I immediately ordered their signature dish, the Cheese Burger. As soon as the burger was served, I was immediately impressed with the bun..!! It was incredibly soft and had a slightly sweet flavor. Burger buns are usually bland, but this one was different. The sweet bun, surprisingly, paired perfectly with the savory meat and other spices.
Speaking of the meat, they use real beef, thick, and the seasoning is perfectly absorbed. The meat is very juicy, not dry at all. When you bite into it, it melts in your mouth. The melted cheese on top is not cheap cheese either, it's creamy and savory. Coupled with fresh vegetables and their special sauce, everything is a perfect combination... The burger is also quite large, so eating one is more than enough to fill my stomach.
Besides the taste, which never disappoints, another reason I like Legenda Burger is the price. With the quality and portions they offer, the prices are very affordable. It feels very worth it. The service there is friendly, so we feel warmly welcomed. I even got some photos of the burgers being made hahaha.
